True but Prescott has been officially designated as Questionable as of yesterday. It will be extremely interesting to see someone, listed one level below OUT, not fully medically cleared for a broken thumb, activated for the game within the next 9 hours.

He had surgery on September 12th. Tomorrow puts him at 5 weeks.

Chicago puts him at 7 weeks and after the bye is 9 weeks. Chicago is terrible so id just rest him until after the bye

Might easily be more like 9 or 10 weeks. Just because he's recovered does not mean he's ready to play. Gawdawmighty, I hope they don't Romo him. They put Romo back in way too soon after he broke his hand and he didn't get control of his passes for a couple seasons after that. It was sickening watching his passes sail on him after they put him back in, even though he couldn't even grip the football. A horrific decision that stands out amongst a pile of such.

That roster spot means nothing. Whoever was brought up would have been inactive anyway. Then they would need to be released and Dak activated. Then Dak would only then be able to practice.
By not putting him on IR, he could be at practice slowly rehabbing.
Not sure why fans keep on bringing this up.

The plan all along was to kinda speculate that he could play tonight, so when he's ready for the Lions it don't look like he avoided the big game tonight.
