Not being sold on Dak is one thing. I know you're not sold on him. I'm more questioning why some actively seem to want him to fail. The reason I defend Dak, when I have to, isn't because I'm some "Dak-Zombie". It's because he's the QB of our team. I defended Romo to the point where you probably would've called me a "Romo Zombie" at the time. I try to be fair with all our QBs , and I always try to defend them and the team.

I wonder how they felt about Romo? It seems a lot of fans ripped on Romo, then went after Dak, and will probably rip on whoever the next QB is. No wonder a lot of free agents don't want to come here with fans like that.

Interesting, cuz all I ever see from you involving Dak is rip on him. When he has a good game, I'd like to see you actually say he had a good game. Like I said, if he plays poorly, I will criticise his play and I have done so. As I said, I try to treat Dak EXACTLY the same as I cheered on Romo when he was here. I was supportive to the hilt of Romo, and I'm the same way with Dak. I will be just as supportive of whoever the next QB is.

When these people in with the name calling and labeling without ever having been mentioned by name I am reminded of two very old sayings..

"Methinks the lady doth protest too much.."

and my favorite...

"Only the hit dawg holla..."

If the anti-Dak shoe fits, wear it.. You know who you are.. You don't need me to engage in your 5th grade antics to carry on with them.. Which is good.. because you won't get me to.

Perhaps this was a joke, but this was from this very thread in page 1. Seems to me like cheering for him to go 0-4.
 
Oh, and "Dak 666" doesn't really sound like wanting Dak to succeed to me. That said, it is cool how you got words other than "Well-Known Member" in there. I'd like for mine to be "The Furry".

Pretty much. I hope that, when Dak plays well, they will acknowledge that he played well. Just as, when he plays poorly, I will say I think he played poorly.

Furry, when did you ever see any of the Romorooters say he played well when he did? Or did they play the Marshall Faulk card "just wait".

Posters take a liking or disliking to a player, he doesn't have a Snickers chance at a fat kid carnival of that changing.

The detest some had for Romo and some have for Prescott has very little to do with how they play and all they will do is not say anything and wait for the chance to take their shots later.

There are those that feel Prescott is just not worth the cap % he's hauling but blaming him for that is ridiculous to me. Blame the people paying him.

I see 0 connection with what any player is paid and how he plays. He either plays well and helps the team or he doesn't, I do not care about the cap or the money. That's not the game and sure as hell not the sport.

Oh, I remember it well. You may recall, if you were on the fan side where a lot of us like StarHart, Will, and catch22andstillcant would hang out, how there were always like 6 or 7 different posters who would routinely trash Romo. I remember a guy named Smashmouth (Or Smashy as we'd call him) in particular was a frequent one to rip Romo over and over. So, I know well what you're talking about.

It would not surprise me if the current batch are not some of the same trolls with new handles. But as CC stated.. their hatred of a player has precious little to do with how that player plays or has played.. There are more deep seated issues at play.. I don't claim to understand it and don't want to.

A healthy Romo perhaps but a broke down guy who had been pretty unreliable health wise vs a guy on a 10 game winning streak it’s just a no brainer
