not much you can say at this point. "i promise you we will" are empty words but thats just him just trying to do what he can to make us forget what literally just happened a few moments ago.
i would appreciate it if he were just honest and say "i'm simply not good enough for this team to get where it needs to go."
and at least if he said that, i know he's being honest with himself.
then if he followed up with something like "But i'm going to go back to the drawing board and do what I can to fix my issues and I won't sleep until I do"
Then okay, at least its something. probably won't help anything but its better than these empty promises which are just annoying now. I would rather these players say NOTHING until they get to the Conference championship game. Then after that, they can get an interview. Cause its all talk until then.
