About the only thing he probably can't do particularly well is the goal line stuff, but I think Ronald Jones or Luepke can do that just fine. Deuce is a weapon like Pollard, and should be a significant factor in the passing and running game.

To me, its a disservice to Davis and Dowdle. They've done evrything asked of them. They are complete backs that have faced the ones from both teams we played so far. They've grinded out tough yards and showed up when pass blocking.
Clueless is ignoring that and handing a job to a guy who has yet to play against anyone who will be in the nfl. Clueless is hyping up a handful of nice runs against scrubs and ignoring anything else he did or didnt do.

Not in the NFL he doesn't. I'm not "anti" Deuce at all, but there's a reason he wasn't drafted until the late 6th round. It's silly to think he has no limitations. 31 other NFL scouting departments understood this.

He can contribute, and represents good value for a late pick. I have no problem with that. The notion that he can handle all duties of RB1 is nuts.
