Dak on how much the offense will change with McCarthy: “Mike told me 20-30% change."

Yeah, fair enough bro.
My central point remains that a poor real time decision maker at QB trumps playcalling/scheme or personnel support regardless.
It does hurt. Whatever Dak is, they won 13 games with him… so my point is by improving those things, the team can improve, even with Dak at QB.

To your point though… can the team with Dak get over the hump and beat a really good defense in the playoffs? That remains to be seen, but I think that a strong run game along with a solid, play action passing game will give the team a better chance to do it than what Moore was running.

Sorry if this is a repost.

although the scheme matters, the most important aspect of an OC is game day play calling. what route combinations from a formation to scheme players open and force defense to take their poison. what pre-snap motion. do you run 4 10 yard curl routes? do your run your WRs into the defenders, those calls matter.

Translation: All the curl route plays will be tweaked or be removed and run to the middle on first down will be reduced. Sounds good to me.
that is speculation, no one knows what will be different till we see game 1

Hopefully it means no 4wr , empty backfield set in short yardage situations or recognizing the proper times to switch from 'hurry up' offense to ball control 'time killing' offense.

Where did Dallas win 13 games with Dak? Dak was out for 5 games and Dallas went 4-1 during that time; with Dak Dallas went 9-5 (including playoffs).

"fat mike told me I was too dumb to learn a new playbook and that Moore has simplified it to running out and coming back to be because I could not lead the receivers in stride or didn't see them." dak

I'll be happy if the 3rd and 8 patterns move from a 5 yard curl to a 8.5 yard curl...

So we got rid of Kellen just to keep the playbook at 80 percent? Can anyone tell me what the point of that was?
They were running low on a full Dak scapegoated person or thing explanation for team failure, so they have stooped to just putting a percentage on said scapegoat nowadays.

Kinda like saying it doesn't even have to be 100 percent now. Even partial will do. The commandment remains.

Thou Shalt Not Blame Dak.

curl routes are designed to give the choker an easy out when he gets lost and can't see the field. sheesh, even the caveman can see that.

guys come back to dak because he gets scared and can't process fast enough. smh

Yeah, I meant they were a 13 win team, which is what I should’ve said.
