Agreed. As great as Dak as been for most of the season, there should be no doubt that an off season after playing an entire rookie season should be massively helpful to him.

Dak has been one of the worst rookies ever. He sucks, and many are wondering how he even got into the NFL. Tony's jockstrap has more talent than this kid.

I don't believe that, but many on here come off as this.

100% agreed. but the comments of "oh he needs to work on footwork, put romo in" type stuff - to me - are just ways to make up stuff to get romo back in. to me, love romo but you don't swap around like that. you made a call, keep it or reduce yourself to a forum poster running the team.
Completely agree. When you make the decision to move forward with a rookie QB, you have to accept the downs along with the ups. But most importantly, you have to actually keep moving forward and moving on.

I think Dak has a great skill set, had the IT factor, and I believe he has a great amount of potential.

Plus I believe he just wants it. I think, long term, we're going to be very pleased with him and what he brings to the Cowboys over his career.

It's funny, I used to think I was about as big of a Romo fan that was possible. Little did I know that I wasn't even in the stratosphere of fandom as many. lol

Agreed that Dak has to show he can bounce back, he hasn't had too much loss adversity to deal with so it will be interesting froma development standpoint to see how he does this next week after this loss. The Bucs will be a good opponent for Dak to show us he has corrected some of his issues (bad footwork due to pressure, unsettled deliveries, shoulders etc..)

Dak mania took a big hit sunday nite lol.
That was close to a cold weather playoff game, and he was sort of a bust along with some others.
Dallas offense was real bad after 1st qtr.

Fortunate for us, outside of the Giants, we're not going to play a team outdoors in the cold. Seattle, Atlanta, Detroit all play indoors. Assuming there's some way we play Tampa Bay, they're in warm-climate Florida. Green Bay has an outside chance to win the division and force us to play there with us as a wild card team, but that's a long shot. They have to win out or they likely will have no shot at taking the division.

Dak will be just fine. We forget he is a rookie having a pretty good season. A season in which he is taking the Cowboys into the playoffs most likely as division champs. No matter what happens this year, next year is really the year Dallas will be a more complete team. Dak one year under his belt and the defense getting much needed help. We have placed Godlike qualities on him that even one regular season loss brings doubt and disbelief of his talent and abilities. Hell, the Cowboys are 11-2, what are we griping about? We got us a good one.

And I am not even discounting the possibility he could actually take Dallas to the NFC championship game this season----something we have NEVER done under Romo and over 20 years.

The fan base way over reacted to this loss. This is one of the best regular seasons in team history and outside of a few bad games Dak has played well. His trend is worth monitoring, but what NFL QB hasnt had some bad games? I would encourage anyone to look back at Troy Aikman's stats during the 92 season, in which he was already a 4 veteran. And this is one of the best QBs Dallas ever had..

yes I thought about that too, also if we have to go to seattle , would not be good. noise and weather.
Thats why I want hfa , no travel, and no weather. also SB is usually good weather or dome.

HFA is big, if/when we get it GREAT, but lets not discount the success though this team has had on the road, this team has traveled well enough to win at the opponents house like Green Bay and Pittsburg, those where great wins for me... I want my little victories, they're the only way I can talk smack to those guys in the office that cheer for the rest of the NFL ...just saying. :)

I've never seen a fan base so upset after a loss after coming off an 11 game winning streak.
