Dak only had 170 yards in a 54 burger!

Dak mixed in some nice passes as well as couple of stinkers that makes you scratch your head.
.
The Colts got into a bad situation and it all snowballed badly for them, and cowboys defense took advantage of it.
Colts' are just not a very good team. And it all starts with their QB.

Can you imagine what this team could do if we had a QB like Mahomes or Burrow? Our run game and defense are enough to get up 40 and 54 point games…. Just imagine
But why would you need a Mahomes or Burrow then?

Mahomes and Burrow aren't throwing the ball if our defense and run game are good enough to get up 40 and 54 point games.
Not trying to be snarky, but your observation is pointless and only serves to perpetuate the Dak debates.

Simply put, if ANY team had a running game and defense that could put up 40 and 54 point games, Marino, Elway, Brady, Montana, Aikman, Staubach, etc., aren't going to be throwing the ball much, if at all.

The quarterback's ability, therefore, is irrelevant.

It reads like one.
It's only a knock on Dak if you think Dak is better suited throwing into coverage and taking risks. Most of us (well from the likes) appear to think Dak's better suited to drive management, finding his short distance go-to's and keeping the chains moving.
I do agree that the title was a bit of a trolling strawman.
yup 21-19 in the 4th quarter to an atrocious team like the Colts should be discussed. We still have some issues but a 33 point quarter masks a lot of blemishes
I can accept this standard if it’s across the board. Philly was down 10-16 with 1 minute left in the 4th qtr last week to this very team and we have posters here acting like they are an infallible group that we have no hope in beating. We can’t have double standards

Yep. That’s how it should be. Just need enough clutch throws at the right moments. Pound them until they surrender.

Those are the best kind if wins.

::edit::

This is not a knock on Dak.. this is a "complete team win" the less we rely on 1 player the better. Romo years are gone.

So the Eagles and Chiefs aren't great then. Chiefs LOST to this team, and the Eagles eeked out a 1 point win after trailing 10 going into the 4th quarter.

Nope, they're fine. They're not the Cowboys and aren't saddled with Dak.

(I'm being sarcastic)

I have no issue making comparisons to how we played the colts and how the eagles played them, however, their fan base can worry about their issues while I’ll stick to out teams strengths and weaknesses since I don’t follow their games and rosters that closely.

at the end of the day the only thing that really matters is how the Cowboys match up with the Eagles

Dallas had 3 TD drives of under 30 yards (24, 26, 29)

I wouldn’t mind more of those

Then switch teams and go follow Burrow.

Problem solved.
This is called deflecting, it doesn’t directly address the question/statement. Answering timhis way shows a lack of intelligence, just fyi. Go root for Dak but who care that he can’t get us where we want to go.

A "complete team win" only happened in the 4th quarter. Before that, the Cowboys were inconsistent which kept the Colts in the game, making the visitors think they were relevant. The Colts should have taken the task of hiring an interim head coach more seriously. And the Cowboys will pay dearly if they start a game like that in the Playoffs. You can get away with it when playing the likes of the Colts but the game would have been over for the Cowboys before the blowout of a 4th quarter got started if you pull that stunt against an NFC playoff team.

I hate it when 4th quarter blowouts make the bulk of us forget the first three quarters the Cowboys played like a team destined to be one and done in the playoffs. Contrary to the previously posted opinion, these are not the best kind of wins.
The Colts were in it until the wheels came off. Looks good to the casual fan, but yeah, those kind of starts are not good for the playoffs.

Can you imagine what Mahomes would do with the Cowboys' offensive weapons, oline, and defense...goodness...Cowboys could go undefeated with him...

They put 54 on them because their coach kept throwing the ball and attacking…he did that even though the game was out of reach…
