I like the "team" excuses for other quarterbacks, but when we lead the league in penalties and have 14, 15 penalties in a game where our defense gives up over 200 yards.... its all Dak's fault. Dak don't play on defense, but he pays for the sins of the whole team.

Great goal post maneuvering there my guy!!

Oh, speaking of that broken down Lions team.... if they were so broken down, how did they almost beat the undefeated Eagles and only loss by 3.... how did they almost beat the 5-1 Vikings and only loss by 4.... and how did they almost beat the 4-3 Vikings and only loss by 3???

Go ahead and prepare to move that goal post again.....

Detroit played Philly in week 1 when both teams were undefeated and Detroit lost 38-35...they lost to Minnesota 28-24...and they only played the Vikings once this season so the only 3 point loss was to Seattle when they lost 48-45.

The fact is the Detroit offense scored 24+ points in the above games while against Dallas they only scored 6.....because the Dallas defense played better then the above referenced teams defenses so that is how Detroit had close games,,,,and was close against Dallas (10-6 with 2:46 remaining in the game) until the Detroit offense gifted Dallas 2 turnovers deep in their own territory.

Ok cool.... fair enough. Lets see how much truth there is to what you're saying or how you expressed your views.

I want you to find me one video, interview, or link from current or former players, coaches, GMs anyone in the HOF, anybody who's on tv or otherwise that has credibility...... show me where any of these credible people have said Dak sucks or Dak is a draft bust. These are your words, correct???

If you can find me anyone of those credible people ive listed above saying he sucks or he's a bust, then I'll suspend my CZ account for a full year. I can't go back on my word because everyone can see what I just posted.

HOWEVER...... if you CAN'T bring me anything from anyone of those credible people I've listed above saying Dak sucks and/or Dak is a bust..... then YOU have to suspend your account for a full year.

Let's put your BS to the test......

DO WE HAVE A DEAL?????

So you want a member to provide supportive comments from scouts, coaches, etc. to support his opinion?

So I guess that means that anytime you have an opinion you have to support it with scouts. coaches, etc. or suspend your account for a year?

Oh the silliness on this board.

Dak is not elite.... but he's definitely better than Rush and thats no disrespect to Rush. Rush is a damn good backup quarterback, but there's a reason he's a backup. He's been in the league for 6 years and the other 31 GMs haven't been blowing his phone up.

There's a reason for that.

the fact that you actually attempted to answer this question seriously tells us all we need to know about your IQ and the QBing ability of your hero

Justifying that Rush is a back up and Dak is better than an NFL back up

Let's review this for a minute.......

Dak was drafted in the 4th round.

Goff was the overall #1 pick in the draft. Wentz went #2 overall.

Five more quarterbacks were taken before Dak Prescott

I wonder how many of those teams that drafted a quarterback before Dak wished they had drafted Dak instead..

Yes, Dak was better than Goff and you bet that is a significant fact even to this day.

Most of you acknowledge that Dak is better to the degree that you don't even consider it an achievement.

However, the fact remains. The vast majority considered either Goff or Wentz the best quarterback in the draft that year. Today, the vast majority believes Dak is the best quarterback drafted that year.

But the Cowboys only won by 18 points and Dak only threw for one TD and the Cowboy offense couldn't score until late in the game. It's ironic because, if they had just waited a little longer to start scoring Dak would then be hailed for his great come-from-behind victory. Funny how that works.

Another irony that might be relevant to older fans involves some games played in 1970 and 1971. The Cowboys beat the Cleveland Browns 6-2 and they beat the Detroit Lions in the playoffs 5-0. You know, if the internet had been around during that time, I doubt that fans would be remembering Roger Staubach with as much reverence. The low scoring victories wouldn't be a tribute to an historic defense, the Doomsday. No, it would be an indictment on the quarterbacks and how they did nothing.

Fans would be just as wrong then about Staubach as fans today are about Dak Prescott.

It's as if fans never realize that the opponent defense is trying to do to the Cowboys exactly what their defense is doing to opponents. Some of those defenses ae pretty good and all of them have the Cowboys at or near the top of their list of teams they would love to beat. Believe it. The Cowboys will always get their best effort because of perception. This is also something Cowboys players are going to have to accept and use as incentive to toughen up.

Some call this an ugly win. It isn't.

An "ugly" win, if you believe they exist, would be the Cowboys beating the Bills in the last seconds in a game where our quarterback threw 5 interceptions.

An ugly win happens in games where you were predicted to win easily, you made so many mistakes that you deserved to lose the game, but you won anyway. That didn't happen yesterday.

You saw an inspired, well coached, but beat up Lion defense play big in the first half and become fatigued in the 3rd quarter where the Cowboys offense begin to move the ball. You saw a great defensive effort once again by the Cowboys defense. They did to Goff what they have been doing to other quarterbacks almost on a weekly basis. Is Burrow really that bad? Is Daniel Jones really a bust?

Dak came back a little rusty, took a while to get started, and helped the team get to 5-2.

Meanwhile, the Commanders benched Carson Wentz and Dak looked better than Goff.

.
Facts have already proven Dak Hate has NEVER been about Football......

Well I guess i share the same IQ as 31 other GMs in the NFL because none of them offered Rush a starting job in his 6 years in the NFL.

My IQ does tell me that you're still angry that the Cowboys won Sunday with Dak under center. Get better son.... making zero sense is not a good look on ya lil guy.

Great breakdown. But they still gave these teams a run for their money. Great break down though, real talk.

If you notice.... every time I challenge them to put our CZ accounts on the line, ALL of them tucked their tells, ran and hid like true cowards. Not ONE of them could back their dumb comments up with credible proof or something from credible people in and around the game.

I got these weak *** haters in a headlock!!!!

Not concerned that Dak out played Goff or not, the object of offense is to move the offense and to put points on the board. Dak and the offense did not do a very good job of that. 1st game back after the injury I get that but this team needs more out of Dak and this offense

Oh stop. How many balloons into triple coverage did you see Sunday? How many unnecessary sacks?

And that was against the worst defense in the league.

I'll let him get a few games in, but it looked so familiar. Usually he's good against bad teams and bad against good ones. But Sunday was pretty ugly.

He got 5 turnovers from his defense and a huge punt return from Turpin, but only produced 17 points and a last minute stat-padding tiny TD pass.

It wasn't good. Fortunately, the schedule gong forward is easy peasy.
Now that's funny.....if we're going to dissect Dak's play every second.....did you see Cooper Rush against the Rams? He was handed a score and good field positon ALL DAY. I get it....you don't like Dak.

I wonder if there are posters over on the Chiefs board starting threads bragging about how Mahomes outplayed Garoppolo…

I’m guessing there aren’t

Kind of ironic. Isn't that what we do with Dak?

I mean he's not a bad QB (as in Dak) but people keep brining up 2016, the 1st 6 or so games of last year, etcetera etcetera to justify the way he has played the 2nd half of last year onward (not as bad as one side says, but not as good as the other wants to make him out imho).
I get it.....don't like Dak.....Now subjectivity:.... probably don't like Zeke....love LVE....think KMoore is a master OC......want TPollard in pass blocking situations. This is a merry-go-round. I'd prefer to recognize Dak as our best QB and treat him like the prior beloved QB. (Not Cooper, but TRomo).....same results.

Funny as it may seem, if Rayne can recapture his for of the first half of last season he may very well have the opportunity to be the best qb in the NFC. Brady and Rodgers are toast. Murray and Stafford are struggling so who does that leave?….. Hurts, Cousins and Dakota

some elite talent left here at the Qb position in the NFC

GB and Tampa Bay only prove QB need players around them, all this non sense of QB doing it alone? None of them do it alone, QB needs players around them they need the OL to protect them and give them some time, they need WR and TE to make the plays.
