I'd love to see Dak improve! I'd cheer him on!
But he's been coddled for six years and never learned how to do his job. He plays the same as he did in college.
I agree, but what does that change this season, this week,... Im living in the now and present.

The more capable quarterback is Cooper Rush.
He does have that mentality that quarterbacks must have.
And the mental part is the most important part.
So your betting that Rush could have taken this team into the post season and succeeded?
I think the smart money is that maybe Dak can overcome some severe shortcomings and give this franchise a fighting chance in December.
Rush is a top BU QB in this league, and Im glad we have him this season, but we all saw his ceiling.

Yes, Goff was remarkable in that playoff game against the Cowboys, wasn't he? He completed a dazzling 54% of his passes for 186 yards, no INT's. Well, no TD's either but I'm sure he was the reason the Rams won.

Dak would be a backup on the Rams? Well, at least he would still be on the Rams.

And yet it was 30-15 going into the 4th and Dak’s ‘impressive’ completion rate as usual was padded by 6 completions and another TD in garbage time.

agree with the mental part bro, but the arm has to translate what brain is seeing.. If Coop had the physical aspects as well as the mental, he would probably be starting somewhere.

Dak has just the minimum between the ears to go along with decent arm strength. His accuracy though…..underwhelming for being paid elite money and Daks biggest weakness is inability to win the big game on the biggest stages.

Coop has done better than any other backup we’ve had here in a long time and his football acumen and poise that’s made it possible.

Is that what we're gonna do now......TB gets immunity TODAY, for what he did in the PAST?

Kind of ironic. Isn't that what we do with Dak?

I mean he's not a bad QB (as in Dak) but people keep brining up 2016, the 1st 6 or so games of last year, etcetera etcetera to justify the way he has played the 2nd half of last year onward (not as bad as one side says, but not as good as the other wants to make him out imho).

He was rusty of course but bottom line he outplayed Detroit's Goff and other QBs around the league including Tom Brady and this is after a 5 game layoff. I'm not disappointed with Dak whatsoever with his performance in the Detroit game.

Romo could kick Dak to the curb in Golf.

Dak never has before, and he's had better talent around him.
And don't ignore that the first game vs the Buccaneers and now the Lions, Dak has struggled. It might not be rust. With these receivers Dak may continue to struggle.
With Rush the Cowboys beat real contenders in succession, something Dak has never done.

a lot of different factors were involved with this game and Daks performance

1. I thought that Dak would greatly benefit from watching the game from the sideline and seeing Rushs success and failures and gain from it. It was a good opportunity for him

2. Daks coming back from injury so probably not fair to expect him to regain last years first 8 game of the season form

3. Detroit worst rated defense in the league and our runners getting 140 yards should have given Dak the chance to put up alot of points. Not just yardage, as much as points

4. Entering the 4th quarter with just 1 Td against the Lions was disappointing and many here were frustrated and just as some here ragged on Cooper for his performance against the Eagles, some here ragged on Dak because it was the Lions crappy defense

Like you know my Dak history, apparently not.
Dak will only struggle if he can't utilize the talent he has around him.
He will make Hendershot his new Schultz.
Most will not argue with you that Dak is not the best QB, but he is best available and can be good enough if he can just chill a little mentally.
Peeps will laugh, but I said days ago that he would come out playing nervous and I was right, but it takes more than just one game, Dak will
have his hands full vs a fired up and inspired Chicago Defense.
If the dust doesn't come off it eventually becomes too deep to remove.

Yeah, because that's what Dak has done in the last 6 years. The smart money is betting he will continue to be what he is.
