Same person that wrote this line about rebounding is the same one who probably writes all the Dak rebounded in the 4th quarter lines, even though he was down 40 points and it was garbage time.

Backup QB Cooper Rush was entirely ineffective in his first start before rebounding to throw for 354 yards in the 34-10 lossto Houston.

Trust me, it would be much more painful for you. If you were actually on the field, I am guessing you be in the 12 interception range by now.
As they continue to tweak this offense to fit cooper rush.I expect things to get a little bit better.
That said, Trey Lance should be on the field. All game, every game.
To be honest, nobody from the Cowboys should be on the field. Just shut it down, so we don’t have to see Jerry and now Dak, acting like he’s an OC in the booth.

It was painful watchin
Honestly, In 40+ years of being a fan, I have NEVER disliked this team more.
Same here!

I am actually at the point where I want them to get humiliated each week and watch the crypt keepers face on the jumbotron while it is happening!

I can not wait until Jerry Jones and Dak have nothing to do with this franchise anymore.

I will take Stephen Jones at this point!

3 wins it’s Dak, 5 losses poor Dak team sucks. Standard apologists view. The mighty Giants a great W and those 9 points against the Lions Dak was shining brightly.
The team does suck and without a quality QB we might only have the win against Cleveland and no assurances of that with an average QB. QB play continues to be the main reason the Browns have struggled. They’ve played better with Winston and with Flacco last season than with Watson. The 5 point difference in the win over the Giants was that Dak outplayed Jones.

That isn't proof. I said after the Steelers game that we needed to put up more points and that against a better team we would've lost. We were lucky to get the W in the stealers game. Just because Rush is bad doesn't make Dak good this season. I could see us having more sacks against the Eagles with Dak in the backfield and he doesn't have a reputation for coming up big in the big game.
I provided proof but you refuse to accept it because you don’t like Dak. The Steelers game was a big game and he came up big with the game on the line. We’re not going to win many games giving up 30 plus points which has happened in 5 of our 7 losses. The offense has been terrible this year but some of you keep putting the entire blame on Dak. Our OL has struggled and we’ve had no running game. Our receivers have struggled getting open which prompted the team to trade for a receiver. We haven’t gotten good enough play from our TE this season. No QB is going to have success with this offense.

A loss is a loss. Once and for all.

Just like a win is a win. Remember we that discussion when Cooper was on his 4 win streak.

The problem with Dak has always been, he wins the games way cheaper QBs can also win. And he loses the big ones, just like the replacement QBs do. Probably with more points on the boards for the Cowboys, or with a smaller spread in the end... but once it's all said n done Dak struggled just like everyone else. And that's why we need to move on. I'd rather win a 10-7 game against the Niners than witness a 40-0 beat down of the Giants.

**** Dak, honestly. Robbed us of 8 more years and will continue to do so. Yes Jerry's decision Blablabla... in the end it's Dak who's on the field.
Cheaper QBs aren’t going to win some of the games Dak has won. A cheaper QB wouldn’t have beaten the Steelers in the closing seconds. A cheaper QB might have led to a loss against the Giants. A cheaper QB wouldn’t have made the Ravens game competitive in the end. Go complain about Dak to someone else. It’s Joneses fault for putting a bad team around a $60 million QB. They absolutely NOTHING to help him during the offseason and it led to a train wreck.

Yeah, the Qb pay structure is beyond ridiculous. Trevor Lawrence and Rayne Dakota are poster boys for this but their GMs had a choice.....Jerry blew a perfect scenario but he caved to Dak and his agent.

At least 2 to 3 years of further futility staring us fans in the face
you think Jerry will be gone in 2 to 3 years? I think thats wishfull thinking

no doubt, but the holding out for stupid money, saying he owes it to his brothers? He didn't mean teammates, he meant fellow QB's waiting on their pay day not handcuffing his team for the next 5 years..
That was a dumb thing for him to admit but he wasn't lying.....when he said brothers, he should have included the agents and players UNION too

In 2020 that "union" had revenues of over $230 Million .....the brotherhood indeed

To be clear, the VALUE of Dak Millstone, is NOT $60 million - that $60MM is merely the PRICE that the miserably run Dallas Cowboys PAID for the annual use of the ‘player’.

If you paid me $1MM for a 10-carat cubic zirconia ring - the VALUE of that rock is NOT $1MM. It’s actually about $50… but your opportunity cost was $1MM. You lost the opportunity to spend that $1MM on other things easily more worthwhile.

But enjoy your ring.

Its not proof. Not being happy that we only had 6 points into the third quarter is a valid concern. It is your perspective that he came up big in that game. It is also a valid perspective that he lucked out with a win, especially if the Steelers also had a bad game and their quarterback also struggled. Furthermore, Dak continued to struggle producing points which lends support that he wouldn't have suddenly scored a lot against the Eagles, if he had played. Yes, the cowboys have a lot of holes, but that doesn't support your assertion that Dak would have done better against the Eagles. Face it, when he hasn't produced this season, you don't have much supporting evidence to back your claim. Many people were talking about how Dak looks slow, old and worn before he got injured. Yes the Offensive Line isn't as good as it has been, but then at the same time when Dak just took sacks in the backfield, it isn't like he didn't have any time before the passrush got there. It wasn't 2011 bad.

Nothing will satisfy you. Dak came up big when we needed him to come up big in that game. Not wasting anymore time with this.

The proof we would have done better are the 3 wins we had with him. We would have never beaten the Steelers without him. You fans that don’t think he’s any better than Cooper Rush are never going to be taken seriously.
Saying Dak is better than Rush is not saying much at all, but if that is where we are setting the standard, then ok.

I had hope for Dak for a number of years, but reality had to settle in eventually and that is that Dak lacks key ingredients to be a qb that can lead a team to a Super Bowl. Oh he “possibly” could be on a team that makes it to one, but not the reason it is there.
His biggest weakness, and this is built in - it’s who he is, is his lack of vision. He over comes some of that lack of vision, and this is the primary reason many believe in him still, by determination, but it imo is way too big a wall to climb . He fails at properly reading defenses and his view of the field (wide open wrs, etc..) is poor many times.

He is paid WAY WAY too much when you consider all the QBs that are better than him in the NFL right now

I agree! The idea of a salary cap is being defeated by the QB position. Every other position on the field the best players are the highest paid. Now with avg QBs making elite money how can the team make up the difference to create an equal playing field.
They can't because the elite QBs help carry their teams.

PATHETIC!!!!
This is now the Church of Dak's swan song as after 9 seasons Dak had a winning drive to win the game.
A game in which we only won cause the Steelers had ZERO offense with Fields at QB.
Better hurry as rumor has the Church of Dak members are almost extinct and Dak is one hit away from retirement!!!
