Dak Prescott’s play was a big reason the Cowboys' offense sputtered vs. the Bucs

So, Dak played great in that game, but, as usual, everyone else are the ones the messed up, is that what you want to believe? smdh

LOL, don't try to convince these blind, ignorant Dak jock sniffers that he was the problem. Even Stevie Wonder was shouting at Dak on the telly. Dak stunk the place up and he had the face of fear and confusion. Too scared to run too. He unfortunately is past his prime already.

Sure, it was a touch late but he BARELY got fingers on it, so it wasn't that late. Factor in who it was....you can count on 1 hand LBs in the NFL that make that play.

But that's the point- if it weren't, "a touch late," then David can't, "BARELY" get his fingers on it. He also hitched a throw to CeeDee that should have come out when he hitched. He doesn't hitch and throws to the same spot, it's not behind CeeDee and they convert the 1st down.

I think it is a lack of confidence in where CD is going to go. On the 2nd play you are referencing...CD does a slow stutter shake into his route... which threw the timing off. Also, the LB was coming over...if he puts it in front, the LB makes a play on it. That ball was on his left shoulder, he should have caught it.

He could have caught it, but again, the hitch threw off the timing. No hitch and the same spot hits him in stride.

If you think 12-3 is over, i don't know what to tell you.

There is 12–3, and then there is 12–3. The WR
play, the oline play, and the QB play gave “zero” reason for any rational person to feel “hey, we’re in this one”. It’s laughable. It was one of the ugliest performances I’ve seen in recent memory. The Bucs were also playing terribly. That is what made it so bad and stand out more. I really have no idea what game you thought you were watching if you thought they were in it.

It may go hand in hand with the first number, but it is truly indicative of just how impotent the offense was. The Cowboys’ deepest penetration of the game was the Tampa Bay 32 - and that was on the opening drive of the game. They only got into Buccaneers territory two other times, with drives that ended on the 41- and 42-yard line. Even for a team with so many untested players it had to rely on, that is incredibly inept.

Dak Prescott’s numbers
PFF does nice little charts. If you have young children around, have them avert their eyes.

But hey, the were "thisclose" in the 3rd quarter.

When TB got ahead 6-3 it felt over.

Dak was awful, and that’s why I don’t pay much credence to the CeeDee bashing.

The Bucs undercut CeeDee’s routes all game, so the ball needed to go somewhere else. Check it down until the Bucs play it differently, then give CeeDee opportunities when they play 1 on 1.

Dak simply wasn’t patient enough to take what the D gave him.

I totally agree, Prescott had a HORRIBLE game. That said, the OL, WR and OC playcalling SERIOUSLY influenced that craptastic performance.
This. Dak had a horrible game but so did every player on the team. Well not everyone. Micah, Martin, Diggs, Elliott, Tyler all played well. Other than that everyone else sucked. Receivers were dropping passes, Dak was off and inaccurate, coaching sucked as usual.

Anyway I'm not a fan of Dak as a player but if he played great we still would have lost. He can only get the ball there he can't make them catch it. He doesn't get called for holding. Again no fan of Dak here, he's been trending down since the Denver game but to say he's the reason we lost is unrealistic. Our whole team wasn't prepared to play, wasn't interested in playing and looked like the moment was to big for them. Kind of reminds me of the playoffs hhmmm, interesting.

That's not true Dak played awful, stop making excuses for the guy. He hasn't played a good game in his last 8 or 9 games.

I guess you cant read so well. I said point blank in the first sentence he played bad.

Dak has had plenty of good games in the last 8 or 9. No point in lying.

Stop blaming the line, they held up better than expected, two missed blocks by Pollard hurt. In the end Dak sucked and he has sucked for his last IDK 8-10 games

No the line sucked. They were big part of it. As was the OC and the weapons. Bucs D had a lot to do with it too. And yah, Dak sucked. Are you going to cry? Its one game. Dak has had great games recently. No sense in lying.

it was one of the worst games ive seen him play, he did not look right at all. If you re watch it its even worse as on any given offensive play there were 4 to 5 of the 11 literally looking lost on the field...again thats after 6 weeks of prep for that game....re watch that game it will not give you any warm and fuzzy's about the coaching staff and for real you see the look of "What the Hell" on many players faces. Missed execution or "Getting beat" is one thing..many times they just flat out looked lost.

The shoes story tells you all you need to know. His ankle was jacked before he hurt his hand. No base to throw on, so his accuracy suffered.

That’s silly. Dak has shown he’s a capable passer. He just destroyed this same team a year ago. But there’s a big difference when you have Lamb, Coop and Gallup than when you have…..Noah Brown and Houston. Like let’s cut it out. We are mad that Dak couldn’t overcome the worst receiving group in the league…..

Ok then I can dig it but one question, please?
What happened in last season's Losses vs the Chiefs, Raiders, Cards, and Niners games when he had Coop and the gang?
Ya thought so..........
