Dak Prescott’s play was a big reason the Cowboys' offense sputtered vs. the Bucs

Happens when you try to force it to a player. Having 2 or 3 WR and 7 defenders. Moore needed to be trying to run the football. Scheme the run. Not up the middle but also off tackle. Even still Elliot grabbing 5 per carry and about to break one and this freaking idiot gives 2 carries in the second half.. Moore calling pass plays and Dak seeing all these defenders. But still saw open receivers. But you can’t blame it all on him. Reading from one side to the left with little time..
It is "standard" practice for all OC's to go mostly or all pass if they are behind, and it doesnt matter even if it is early in the game and only behind a little.
They tend to freak out and go all pass. It works for some who have good passing qb, good wr, and good plays and play design. The rest not so much.

Kellen is and I have to include mike, the albatross around the teams neck right now.
Kellen and mike need an all star team to make them look good.

I am curious to see what they adjust if anything, with rush now at qb.

he's not good enough to over come poor pass protection and receivers that can't beat man to man.

We lost this game in the off-season when we decided this roster was good enough. Dak will never elevate those around him no matter how much money you throw at him

I haven't seen this discussed much. IMO, Tampa used the same scheme that has been giving Dallas problems since the Denver game. They were sitting back in layered zone defenses. I think, unfortunately, this is part of the reason why Zeke looked good.

Overall, its not surprising that Dak struggles against this type of defense. Most QB's will even if Dak's game was particularly ugly.

What is really disappointing is that the team apparently has no scheme or plan for attacking this type of defense. Kellen had all offseason to figure out how to beat that defense and he seems to have come up with nothing.

You guys are hillarious. Must be amazing living in a world where in one breath you say he doesn't take chances with the ball and then the next say he is throwing into triple coverage. In one breath say he needs to get it to his "#1" wr(s) and then the next cry triple coverage.

I explained the three that i saw. I am sure there was probably another there i am not thinking about.

Dak was not without fault this game but there were also a lot of reasons why they didn't score ..not all of them were bc of him.
Dak was not effective last week. We can only hope that Rush is more effective this week.

Probably not. I hear them now. “With a back up QB they will never expect us to go all pass like last week..” and Moore saying “good I don’t have any other plays.” .
