There has always been some hype around Dak. He was awful the first half of the season and McCoy literally called him *** on live TV and said the offense was dumbed down for him and he only reads half the field, which was true. He was getting trashed by everybody and suddenly it’s like the networks were told to go soft on him.

The offense stagnated again, people were once again saying he beats up on bad teams, until they beat up on the garbage Commanders and the MVP chants started happening again.

Then the playoffs happen which everybody said was the defining indicator at the beginning of the season, the regular season wins mean nothing, and Dak once again proved McCoy right.

The same type of aura was around Dak in 2020, though he completely sucked and all his points were garbage time stats with 7 TOs in 4 games. People tried to justify him that season based on DaNucci. But nobody was saying that Cooper Rush was 5-1.
The Cowboys has a powerful PR machine so I have no doubt they influence narratives on those shows.

I think the thing that got to me was Green Bay having more playoff wins at Cowboy Stadium than the Cowboys. Will the mediocrity and underachievement continue or will changes be made to yield a better result? At this point I think it's the former until I'm shown otherwise.

Baker played a hell of a game last night. His Receivers allowed that game to be more of a contest than it should have been.

Probably also the way brand imaging is done in with agents representing all levels of the machine including marketing and tied that into how advertising revenue is the golden ticket…. It’s probably all around..

Notice also how it’s in regards to Dak’s contract.. Players including ex-playees are going to want him to get paid as much as possible, because it continues to point the needle upwards for the market. They are his enemy on the field, but not as far as contracts are concerned.

Dak is the Jason Garrett of QBs
....since Jason Garrett's name has been invoked. We might as well bring up TRomo with the same number of playoff wins with Baker. Might as well.
