Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb tried recruiting Cooper Kupp to Dallas

Would you want them to pay 17 million for Kupp? Really?

15 Yes, 17 maybe. You wanna pay someone 7-8. Another 10, is not a huge difference. Depends on how much is guaranteed.
You gonna hope to win with the scrubs we have? If Ceedee gets hurt, season over! Actually, it’s probably done anyways, so who cares.

How about drafting your number 2 receiver in the 1st round? You get a young healthy receiver on a rookie contract locked up for years with Lamb.

THEY RECRUITED they didn't mention that Jerry sent them to do it
Well in a fish show, he said all that might just be something shefter made up.
So unless dak and lamb say yes they called him, I am going to ignore it.
I wondered why they would call only kupp lol, didnt make sense that it would just be him.

"Come to Big D. No need for any playoff success. Make as many broken families as you like. Disappear in big games. Take second half of season off. Puppet HC. No rings for any fan or baby mama. It's awesome."

Does Dak really think ANY WR would be convinced to come here and try to catch passes from him? Heck, does any PLAYER who would like to have a legit shot at winning want to come here? This ain't the grand stage it used to be. It's more like an elevated karaoke floor.

And you think using a 1st rd pick ensures you land another stud WR? Here is a look at 1st rd wrs in the last 3 drafts:

  • Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals (No. 4 overall) HIT

  • Malik Nabers, New York Giants (No. 6 overall) HIT

  • Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears (No. 9 overall) ????

  • Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 23 overall)

  • Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs (No. 28 overall) HIT

  • Ricky Pearsall, San Francisco 49ers (No. 31 overall) ????

  • Xavier Legette, Carolina Panthers (No. 32 overall) ????
2023 NFL Draft:
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks (No. 20 overall) HIt

  • Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers (No. 21 overall) ????

  • Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens (No. 22 overall) ????

  • Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings (No. 23 overall) Solid, not yet

2022 NFL Draft:
  • Drake London, Atlanta Falcons (No. 8 overall) Hit
  • Garrett Wilson, New York Jets (No. 10 overall) HIT

  • Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints (No. 11 overall) Hit

  • Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions (No. 12 overall) HIT

  • Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders (No. 16 overall) >????

  • Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans (No. 18 overall) ???

So Id say teams are pretty happy with 65 to 70% of those guys.... but you cant be positive you are gonna draft a guy in the 1st and hes going to be an immediate stud. That being said, I wish theyd sign Allen to a 1-2 year deal and still draft a WR in the 1st rd.
