You’re going to have to play a good team and it seems like we never beat the good defenses. These youngsters are out preforming our quarterback. This is a big problem. Love looked calm and collected.

We are stuck with him for 2027 and 2028. Spending resources trying to replace him now would only take away from trying to build a better team.

UNLESS you can talk Dak into waiving his no-trade clause and you find some team willing to make a deal for him. Good luck with that.
Draft a new QB and play him non stop. If it works, great, if not then we at least get a high draft pick for 28. Draft a QB again. Enough with the mediocrity. THATs what's pushing us into a corner every single year. Too bad for anything even close to a Title run but too good for tearing down the house. Commit to a true rebuild.

Sit Dak and if he is the team player he wants us to believe he is he will support the new QB and help him to get better.

Said this years ago, draft a QB every year. Trade for high draft picks. From 22 on it was clear that Dak will get us nowhere. No matter the coaching and his oh so great regular season stats.

The 49ers showed the defensive playbook you need to beat Dak Prescott in the very first playoff, he faced them
you bring maximum pressure, you drop your guys back and force Dak to throw-in the 15 yd range.
he just won't pull the trigger
Because balls end up getting picked off, batted away.
he just can't get the ball to the right spot on time.
He has 2 passes, he can throw anything under 10. Yards, and the stand back and chuck it deep beyond the defense. So his receiver has a chance, or no one else does.
That is the book on him.
we've seen it two weeks in a row, which means the entire league has caught on. So this offense will no longer be effective against a anything better than a marginal team.
Good night

Dak Prescott and the offense has been the problem. I know it's easy to rip on the D. But, let's be honest. Dak and the offense have been POOR, especially the last two weeks. The D has actually been improving, and I loved seeing them be more physical today. Not their fault that the offense couldn't score more than 7 in the first half against Tampa, and scored 0 in the first half against GB (even AFTER a pick).

I don't understand why we aren't taking deep shots. We have elite WRs in Lamb and Pickens. If you have WRs like them who thrive in deep passes (like we saw last season), then we SHOULD take a few shots every so often. Even if it doesn't succeed, it plants a seed of doubt in the opposing D, and it gets them to back off. But, for whatever reason, we aren't doing that. We're just dinking and dunking with WRs who are capable of more than that. But then, tonight, the one time they tried that, Dak threw it right to the Packers after we got a pick.

So, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to say it. I like Dak. But, it's time to find the next franchise QB. This team clearly doesn't have a spark. The offense looks woeful, despite over $100 mil allocated to that side in cap space ($60M of which to the QB). I think the time has come for 1. Us to get a more proper HC (maybe someone like Sean McDermott) and 2. It's time to find the next QB. I think we'd sit the rookie a year behind Dak to learn the pro game, but I think 2027 has to be the last year. Dak looks to be regressing.

My ONE concern is that I DO NOT want Archie Manning. But, I am concerned/expecting Jerry to draft him for his last name to try to sell him as the next franchise QB.
Dak prefers the sideline passes and lobs to his TE. Makes his stats look better as the deep is low percentage.

But Dak is a top 5 QB. He's better than Aikman. Lol It will be hard for any QB to win in this organization but Dak has long proved he's not the answer. Getting tired of hearing him talk too. Promises things he can never deliver. He is Jerry's mouthpiece.

Play calling is the real problem. Our coaches have no situational awareness to run this offense. Im surprised we were top 4 last season.
