This. The rot is Jerry and the Jones family. There is no QB that is coming in here and fixing the deep systemic rot that has taken place
finding a trade partner, good luck
Don't leave out the "not so" Special Teams unit too. We suck in all 3 phases of the game. Its a miracle they have won 2 games.Yup.
D has been terrible, no doubt. But, the O has also been bad. Rebuild both.
Manning stays in college and should. He'll never sniff a draft pick high enough to pick Manning this year. I wouldn't worry about that.
Draft a new QB and play him non stop. If it works, great, if not then we at least get a high draft pick for 28. Draft a QB again. Enough with the mediocrity. THATs what's pushing us into a corner every single year. Too bad for anything even close to a Title run but too good for tearing down the house. Commit to a true rebuild. We are stuck with him for 2027 and 2028. Spending resources trying to replace him now would only take away from trying to build a better team.
UNLESS you can talk Dak into waiving his no-trade clause and you find some team willing to make a deal for him. Good luck with that.
Dak prefers the sideline passes and lobs to his TE. Makes his stats look better as the deep is low percentage.Dak Prescott and the offense has been the problem. I know it's easy to rip on the D. But, let's be honest. Dak and the offense have been POOR, especially the last two weeks. The D has actually been improving, and I loved seeing them be more physical today. Not their fault that the offense couldn't score more than 7 in the first half against Tampa, and scored 0 in the first half against GB (even AFTER a pick).
I don't understand why we aren't taking deep shots. We have elite WRs in Lamb and Pickens. If you have WRs like them who thrive in deep passes (like we saw last season), then we SHOULD take a few shots every so often. Even if it doesn't succeed, it plants a seed of doubt in the opposing D, and it gets them to back off. But, for whatever reason, we aren't doing that. We're just dinking and dunking with WRs who are capable of more than that. But then, tonight, the one time they tried that, Dak threw it right to the Packers after we got a pick.
So, I'm afraid that I'm going to have to say it. I like Dak. But, it's time to find the next franchise QB. This team clearly doesn't have a spark. The offense looks woeful, despite over $100 mil allocated to that side in cap space ($60M of which to the QB). I think the time has come for 1. Us to get a more proper HC (maybe someone like Sean McDermott) and 2. It's time to find the next QB. I think we'd sit the rookie a year behind Dak to learn the pro game, but I think 2027 has to be the last year. Dak looks to be regressing.
My ONE concern is that I DO NOT want Archie Manning. But, I am concerned/expecting Jerry to draft him for his last name to try to sell him as the next franchise QB.

Yup. This team was always only going to go as far as the offense could carry them.Dak Prescott and the offense has been the problem. I know it's easy to rip on the D. But, let's be honest. Yep, it only took these tards 11 years to figure this out. LMAO, some knew this a long time ago. Slow learners, you bunch of late-to-the-party haters,But Dak is a top 5 QB. He's better than Aikman. Lol It will be hard for any QB to win in this organization but Dak has long proved he's not the answer. Getting tired of hearing him talk too. Promises things he can never deliver. He is Jerry's mouthpiece.
To be fair today's game should have been nostalgic for you then. It seems that's all we run are curls and stopsYup. This team was always only going to go as far as the offense could carry them.
Apparently that isn’t very far lol
This offensive coaching staff makes me miss the Linehan/Garrett days. Unreal how bad they have looked these past 2 weeks.
No adjustments or adapting to how teams play us. If our first plan doesn’t work, Oh shucks, I guess we go back and chop some more wood and try and figure it out
