Tamps Bay is compete garbage and hobbled into the playoffs. They are a walking sleeve at TDs given up and can’t generate INTs.

They just got smashed by a Falcons team with a QB who threw for 2 TDs and 0 INTs in his 4th start and led them to a 30-17 victory.

Sam Darnold went out and threw 3 TDs and 1 INT and 340 yards and the panthers are pretty much one of the worst offenses in football and he only played like 6 games coming off injury with no talent around him and not a single 1000 yard WR.

TB sucks.

These talking heads were just hyping TB up because of Tom Brady, who is clearly done and had little left in the tank.

Moore basically calls the plays real-time, meaning Dak uses the QB cadence in “hurry up” and this forced the defense to show its look and Moore sends in the play to Dak in real time. When Moore is ahead of the defense, it looks like this and the OL is basically giving the QB all say to throw.

it’s the typical game which over-estimates Dak’s performance, the only difference is it finally happened in the playoffs, which is the surprise. It’s like the Vikings game, but then is followed by his slew of pick 6s. Or like the Atlanta game 2 years ago and so on.
Added to ignore list lol.

No doubt Dak was under a lot of pressure from the outside, he manned up last night and showed what he can do. 25/33 for 305 4 TD passes and 1 TD run and a QB rating of 153.7 His performance last night was the best showing of any QB in this weeks playoff game

Congrats to Dalton Schultz for his 2 TD's, Congrats to CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup for their TD's. But yes, big congratulations to Dak for managing the ball getting it into CeeDee's, Gallup's and Schultz's hands for their TD's. And no interceptions... He did an amazing job.

Very impressive...

Absolutely, I know the usual suspects were ready to put Rush in after the first 2 series, lol. But man he played lights out the rest of the way. 5 tds in a playoff game, wow!
Who in their right mind even thinks about Rush?? Now I really hope all the Romo fans shut up.
Dak has equaled if not surpassed Romo

why are you even here shouldnt you be in the baby bunker crying with Mountaineer, pappy and our resident veteran. The Oline played very good and when they do so does dak. Oh btw that a better performance than anything #9 put up in playoffs. even though it wasnt all his fault they now are both 2-4. oops I mean dak is 2-3

After last season's exit, I have been very skeptical of Dak. When the whole team laid an egg last year, Dak didn't help. The great ones step up and pull everyone else up with them. That didn't happen last year.

But yesterday? I keep reading how the Cowboys played well as a team last night, I'm not so sure that's accurate. I thought Diggs was terrible. I thought Zeke looked spent. Maher...well...you know.

To me, for whatever that's worth, Dak carried the entire offense. I am not sure I would have said that Dak could do that. Even the misses the first two series were far more on the receivers and KM than they were Dak. He just straight up elevated his game and took the entire offense with him. The Bucs had no answer for Dak. His decision making was lightning fast and accurate. Dak ate them alive. If he can do that again, it won't matter who you play.

This is another chapter in a story that's just getting really good. If Dak becomes the kind of QB that takes over games in the playoffs, his story will become legendary.

LOL. Wow. Get a life man. Go back to bleeding green nation. You just cant bring yourself to cheer for someone not named Romo. BTW. Dak just did something Romo never did. And also became just the 5th QB in history to throw for 4 and rush for 1 TD in the playoffs.

Have a good day crying that the Cowboys won.

Haha, there was a thread about Rush recently I'm sure there are some here ready to reopen that one a 1 minute into the game.

I've always thought Dak's biggest struggle and performance inhibitor has resided between his ears. A lack of confidence and, perhaps, a fear of injury have resulted in what appeared to me to be an unwillingness to fully engage - including sacrificing his body.

Not sure who or what got to him (maybe he watched Daniel Jones this weekend?) but, last night, we witnessed what a fully-engaged Dak. Running the ball, throwing himself out as a lead blocker, making fearless, decisive throws. It was all something to behold, and evidence of just what this guy is capable of.

So, you’re a mind reader.

You’ve come to the conclusion that Dak “mails it in” and, per your comments, this is a generational thing.

I’m a child of the Staubach era. Is it a safe assumption that you were already an an adult in the 70’s?

Predating me by, maybe a decade?

The world has changed. That was 50 years ago.

We can’t continue to assume the that the “good old’ days” are even remotely relevant to today.

It would be like you and I debating my “greasers” and complaining about the “kids” calling us “daddio”.
If you saw Staubach play and were old enough to understand what you were seeing, then you have to recognize there is a tremendous difference in the way players today, (with rare exceptions), approach the game. There were no such things as "Business Decisions", milking contracts once awarded or "disappearing on the field." Indeed, it is a different time and it is a generational evolution which is what it is. Look, I'm not going to take much more time defending a League who's product has changed to the point where they had to have it reclassified as "Entertainment" as opposed to sport. The salary cap and free agency has not, in my opinion, been good for football. Post Cap era fans are reduced to rooting for their team's clothes and the problems lie with both players and owners.

I remain adamant that the mark of a professional is consistency. I hope our Cowboys can stay focused and bear down for the tests which are quickly coming. Were this, as you say, ancient history, I'd have no doubt what kind of effort was going to be on display. Today, not so much.

Tampa Bay had the THIRD worst defense against TEs. Schultz was running wide open all day. Tampa Bay sucked all year long defensively, including against no-named QBs. They almost lost to Trace McSorley, meaning the QB of the Cardinals who fired their coach.

It was already rumored the FO was going to fire Brian Leftwich mid-season and now it’s pretty much certain. They struggled all day against the horrible Cardinals defense and needed a fumble in the 4th at close to mod field to set up a game tying FG of 16 pts to go into OT.

This was a typical Cowboys game in regular season against a wildly inferior opponent with Moore absolutely toying with the Bucs defense.
