Dak Prescott Appreciation thread

Dak was lights out and well done to him. Another 3 like that.. and we will ALL be happy.

Having said that.. you can congratulate a good game and dissect a bad one.. it doesn't make you more or less of a cowboys fan. So sick of the narrative that you have to slobber over every player, every game to be considered a 'fan'. Dak played a great game.. but it is equally true to say that Tampa bay is not the toughest defence and they are a long way from the powerhouse they have been the past couple of seasons.

This was still a signature win for Dak because he has looked so bad over the last couple of weeks.. we had the pressure of never beating Brady.. the lack of playoff success on the road.. all the other mental pressure and Dak smashed out the game of his career. There is no way you can't be happy for him, the team and this franchise.

Having said that.. I don't think these performances happen in a vacuum. Our defence (with banged up CBs and all) held Bucs scoreless for a half.. nearly 3/4s of the game... they won't be able to do that against SF.

There is still a long road ahead of us and the work starts now. I just hope Dak doesn't drink the bathwater.. gotta stay hungry.

It wasn't just Dak tonight, everyone, except for poor Maher, elevated their play. The OL played great, gave Dak time, WRs and TEs were in sync, defense was flying around, DL getting pressure. LBs and DBs making plays. We don't just need Dak to be consistent and play at a high level, the whole team needs to as well. Games just get harder from here on out, one guy doesn't carry the team, but if this team can continue to play at or near this level, we can beat anyone.

That was the best game of Dak's career and one of the best games a QB has ever had in the playoffs.

In fact, Dak became just the 5th player in NFL history to throw for 4 TDs and rush for a TD in a playoff game.

Add to this that he did it on the road against the GOAT, simply amazing.

oh ok. only bad games happen in a vaccum and its Dak's fault?

Dak played a hell of a game.
Him and the 2 coordinators were great.

Dak played a great game last night. It was nice to see him bounce back, Now he has the same playoff wins as Romo. Time to make his own legacy and beat the 49ers,

I knew Dak had all the tools and had said it over and over.

A big part of it in my opinion was him using his legs to make plays making the defense account for it.

It changed the whole game they had to worry about him running and that play fake where he ran for the touchdown was incredible

Along with the other play where they thought he was going to run had to commit the personnel and he just tossed the touchdown.

His decisions came quick and were spot on along with Kellen Moore calling a good game.

This is what we need Dak to do to win playoff football. All starts with the plays he makes with his legs to move the chains and the threat of that.

I've long been a Dak critic but he totally did a blowout performance tonight. Near-flawless, incredible. Signature win. Career defining win.

Career defining requires continuity but no doubt this was his best game ever. The question is, can he continue?

Great win for Dallas! Everything came together for Dak and he played very well.
This is what we have been hoping to see in the playoffs but haven't seen in 7 except against the NFC east opponents.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I totally agree with this. I’d just add that there’s a difference between discussing and analyzing a bad game from dak and being completely hyperbolic and irrational.

Work starts now! Let’s go boys
