Where you dak hounds when he played like crap a couple weeks ago.
You only come out when he plays decent enough.
This win was a huge team win.
Everything went the cowboys way.

How about them apples?

Pretty good franchise QB. Way to go, Dak!

:starspin:
Good for him. He took it to them today. I like Dak when he’s using his legs. I hope they keep doing that. He played really well today. You got to give him his due. He said he didn’t care what critics say about him and I posted his play should shut up critics like me. Well he did it and I’m happy for him and happy we won. We won big too. That was satisfying.

Dak played great today. Looked how he should look against a losing team with a bad defense and coming off a bye.

Really impressed with the defense shutting down Stafford with Kupp, Nacua and Atwell.

More like today’s easy rules for passers and receivers. Not to take anything away from Dak, he definitely balled, but I’m sure many of the teams in the league have a quarterback breaking records like this in the last 10 years. Roger Staubach would have had a field day with today’s rules.
Either way, it's judged among your peers.

Well you really need to put this into context. The Rams secondary left our guys wide open so many times and their offense wasnt really able to get going... they sometimes looked like a highschool football team yesterday in the first half.

With that being said, I liked how Dak was in control of this offense. The last time I said this was in '21 I think. But he just made the right choices, ordered his guys where he wanted them to... kinda like a general winning a battle.

Let's put it this way: let's talk about this again after the Eagles game: If he can control his offense the way he did yesterday and win this game, then I will feel a whole lot better. But beating up the little guy is something we have seen so many times now, it doesn't mean that much to me anymore.

Still, liked what I saw, good job Dak. Period.

What are you talking about? Many like me show up to defend Dak even when the team loses. I usually support my talk with film breakdowns from ex-NFL QBs like Kurt Warner, JT O'Sullivan, Tim Hasselbeck, Chase Daniel, Sean Salisbury, etc.

Where are you at to dispute their Dak film breakdown based on their NFL QB experiences?

Interesting you mentioned the Rams secondary. Yes, they aren't as good as they were when they had Jalen Ramsey, but they do have some young players who havd shown promise so far this season:

"

27. Los Angeles Rams (Preseason Rank: 32)

Ahkello Witherspoon (CB1), Derion Kendrick (CB2), Cobie Durant (CB3), Russ Yeast (FS), Jordan Fuller (SS)

Things were always going to be rough for the Rams after they traded Jalen Ramsey during the offseason and opted to turn the secondary over to a bunch of inexperienced players. So far, the results have gone as expected. The Rams are allowing 11.3 yards per reception to start the season and have just four interceptions and 13 pass breakups through six weeks. One bright spot for the Rams is that cornerbacks Derion Kendrick and Ahkello Witherspoon are allowing less than 50% of the passes against them to be completed. Unfortunately, quarterbacks are averaging over 11.0 yards per reception and have two touchdowns against them this season.

FTN Data Stat to Know: The Rams are allowing the lowest completion percentage in man coverage this season (44.1%)"

I guess it evens out since our secondary is not that much better (19th out of 32) since Diggs was lost for the season early this season. Regardless, as the stats show above, the Rams D-secondary came into the game allowing
the lowest completion percentage in man coverage this season (44.1%). Too bad they went up against our very own stud QB, Dak Prescott.

I would have given him a A+ if he had not forced that one that got picked; it was tipped but it was a pass that should not have been thrown

Franchise records in passing are sort of meh since the game has changed so much and passing is so much easier and the D can do a lot less then they used to be able to
After the tip, it was still almost caught....Texas Coast Offense is getting some steam....looking good..

Dak Prescott vs Rams (October 29, 2023):

25 of 31, 304 yards, 80.6 completions %, 9.8 yards/catch, 4 TDs, 1 INT, 3 sacks, 133.7 passer rating.

Meh, Dak sucks! Let's replace him.

:muttley:
The beginning of the game had me mad. We gave up 3 sacks in the first 4 plays. But the O-Line finally got it together and Dak started taking off with the ball.

Olsen somehow didn’t either. I guess it was his point of view from the booth. He should’ve looked at a tv shot.
Olsen is usually correct, but yesterday, he was way off on that particular play analysis. Notice how he didn't ask Blandino to chime and explain why the officials didn't throw a flag on that excellent defensive play by Bland.

Nice. Do it next week. We need him to be real good He should be able to put up big numbers agaist the eagles secondary. Sam Friggen Howell did
Agreed.

The Oline needs to perform better since the Eagles front 7 is very good, especially their D-line. Cowboys need to bring their A game.

Here, just like every game.
It should come as no surprise, it's a fan forum FFS. If the team lost, there would be 30 Dak threads by the cult, blaming him for everything.
Some like you show your true colors. Very few do.
