Is that why JAX got hosed so badly in the 17 champ game? 7 penalties on a D that had 5 called on them the entire season. Because it was Brady?

And the original intent of this, Brady got help getting those 7 super bowls, and this was a blatant example of it. So, asterisk time.

All of the greatest talents get the calls. Happens in all sports. All Positions.

You’d have to place an asterisk on all of the greatest talents.

Id argue it’s because most referees believe it takes lesser talent to cause a foul or penalty to impede them not a directive from the league .

Dak has had much better lines, running games, and defenses with the same result. Eventually it has to fall on the QB. This year it’s fair to criticize team building, other years it’s clearly been on Dak

Just pull up playoff stats dak vs regular season dak and you will see a sharp decline, especially excluding the stat padded gb game tearing up the 2nd team defense

Yes, we can use stats to support our opinions. But not everyone believes or sees it the same.

This particular Cowboys fan who started this thread believes in Prescott and is lobbying that he deserves more respect.

And he’s been a long standing supporter of Prescott. That’s his position and feels very strongly about.

Fortunately this forum allows every fan to express themselves as such.

He’s provided stats which he believes supports his opinions. That’s what we do here on Cowboyszone.

And this wonderful site provides and allows everyone to provide their opinions . We don’t need to make it more than that.

Nobody cares if you think you are right or not. Most likely it’s not changing the others views. Provide your stance and move on. Let the others decide if it moves their needle.

I think it's just human nature. Like the favorite pet at work. The boss/owner may not intentionally manipulating things...but they still do it.

Right . It’s only natural. Again, it’s all about the intent. I don’t believe it’s a directive from the league to throw games .

It’s just basic human nature to think it must be foul if a lesser talent impedes the greater talent in a questionable means.

The greater talent will normally get the call. From lineman to receivers and QB.

We see the same thing in other sports . Jordan, Bird, Magic , etc got the calls.

Does it impact or manipulate games, of course. But is it a direct intent to impact the results from the league in a great conspiracy act. I don’t think so. But I can see why fans would think so especially if calls go against their team, etc.
