Dak Prescott deserves more respect

Put Dak on the Texans and they'd be the clear super bowl favs. So, what's the problem? Two things, bloated salaries and horrific talent evaluations. (Please don't take this as an attack, it's not.)
Put Dak on the Bills, Bears, and Chargers and those teams don't make the playoffs.

It's actually 10 vs. 2.
You're right.. I forgot about the San Fran game.. and I ignored Brady's rookie season when he didn't play and just counted playoff seasons.

But the point stands.. Brady got a LOT more help from the defensive side of the ball than Dak has received.

No matter what defensive metric you look at Brady's Pats were miles ahead of anything Dak has played with. The Cowboys are 1-2 in the playoffs when scoring 30 points or more with Dak at QB. Brady's Pats were 5-1.

I think it's fair to say that with multiple #1 defenses behind him Dak would have a lot more playoff wins to his credit. Even if he himself did absolutely nothing different. Which is why these perceptions are so stupid. Jordan Love was brilliant against the Bears.. and lost.. CJ Stroud was horrible against the Steelers.. and won.. This time next year people will be declaring how Stroud was so much better in the playoffs than Love. Because... stupidity?

Yep. We’ve had two good enough QB’s this era to have more success with. But a dysfunctional ownership determined to stranglehold Cowboys Football with less than Elite coaching undermining and meddling with not allowing more control for HC along with horrific talent evaluations and Cap mgmt which has been the one constant throughout his era.

Could a more Elite QB have had more success . Perhaps but most teams in NFL have to build around less than Brady or Mahomes. It takes a total team effort. And we have come up short consistently on defense . This year was horrifically historically bad.

Our #2 offense with even an average to slightly below average defense is in the playoffs. And no doubt with a defense like Houston could be serious SB contenders .

Dak Prescott's first decade in the league deserves more respect....

You left out Super Bowls and playoffs. You can tell what BS people are on by what they leave OUT...

Take away those loaded offensive and defensive Patriots teams Tom Brady had, especially in the playoffs, then it would be fair. Guaranteed Dak would have even better numbers.

Just to be fair...
Make up something in your head then present it as a fact.

Going out on a limb with the "Guaranteed" part as if that's the selling point. LOL.

It takes a whole team to make it to the playoffs. Once there, it still takes a team to win in the playoffs.

Football 101 ^^^

Should have been learned since high school.
It takes a whole team to win a game. Didn't stop you from giving Dak credit for wins in your OG post. Logic 101. Hypocrisy 101. Glazing 401.

He could have become a free agent and left for another team. He decided to stay, albeit for unprecedented money, so if he doesn’t get to a Super Bowl it’s on him as much as it’s on the Cowboys.

I’m not a Dak hater by any means, but he hasn’t had the ability to carry this team in the postseason. He definitely isn’t the problem, but by this point we know that he isn’t who we should solely rely on either.

We need at least a middle of the pack or better defensive unit, and solid OL/running game to have a shot. To be fair, MOST QBs need that to win in the playoffs.

Eli Manning would be ringless if not for legendary defensive performances from his team.
