Dak Prescott deserves more respect

You get what you earn.

Regular season champions sit at home and watch the playoffs just like the fans do.

2-5.
Ironically, it would of either been 2-6 or 3-6 if we had a better Defense this year. I mean when is the last time any of us have seen the cowboys clearly kick it into another gear and play playoffs football. We would've shown up in the playoffs playing at the same intensity that we played in the regular season and gotten smoked.

Leadership, getting your team on the same page, to kick it up a notch, is what is required to win in the playoffs. We don't have that leadership here recently with the coaching staff. We don't have that leadership here either, as we had in the 90's, with on the field leaders that get a team focused and on the same page to win in the playoffs. Dak has proven that he is an average leader in the playoffs that doesn't get his team mates on the same page to win. If I were to go into the playoffs, I'd take Brady over Dak. 2-5 versus super bowl rings.

I cannot believe someone compared Dak and Brady with a straight face.
Say we found stats to show Brady was WAY better (we have)...the Dak Crusaders would say "Oh sure....comparing him to the very best ever....not fair" (they have).

So you're saying Dak just pads his stats... Got it... Good to know...
So you're still making up stuff because your logic doesn't make sense?

Fact is all QBs "pad their stats" when they don't want to leave a game...

...but the reason we call it "stat padding" is because you don't want to talk about the 2 INTs that ruined the game in the 2nd quarter...you want to focus on the final stat sheet. It's not an honest argument...so you get what you get.

He has $60M worth of respect. If he's satisfied with it, then his fans should be as well.

Fans in 2029:

"Who is this Dak Prescott you keep talking about? Was he a janitor here?"
Dak's not going away that fast. He's gonna make the championship game in a contract year and Jerry's gonna resign him again.

His MVP or stats bursters years.... and then after this his championship game years are always gonna come during a contract year. It's just what he does. He takes small steps up and Jerry signs him based on that.

Good regular season quarterback but cant perform at that same level once the playoffs start. When the lights shine brightest, TB12 elevated his game, Dak folds under the pressure
It would appear to me the entire team has been folding in big moments for 30 years, no matter who the QB was.

And in most cases beaten by better teams this era.

We simply haven’t had a championship caliber team. We were close a couple times years ago with #1 seeds in both Romo and Daks first full season starting getting upset which happens which weren’t directly blamed on either QB and a #2 seed a few years ago. But no real higher level consistency from year to year.

I’ve been around for both glory eras and haven’t seen anything since remotely similar. Which I put on the one constant throughout this era, Jethro Jone$.

Not sure what you mean by rule change. It was in effect at the time of the play and changed later.
No, it wasn't. The rule was changed mid game. Before that, when a Qb tucked the ball in and lost it, it was a fumble. They changed the rule due to the bad call.

And every time we get close, Jerry completely wigs out and starts making weird draft choices and bad FA signings. Every time, like clockwork.
