Good QBs get paid when they hit free agency.

The great Troy Aikman also sucked whenever his supporting cast sucked.
Which is just an argument to not sabotage your cap mobility by sinking so much of it into an average/decent QB.

Hopefully the Niners tell Purdy to go pound sand if he asks for 60-65 million and maybe the QB salary madness bubble that has driven the absurd inflation for mediocre to decent QBs in this league can finally burst.

GOOD, now that the NFL channel posted Prescott mouthing that the Cowboys Fing suck! No Prescott, the only one who is stinking up the place is you and your WEAK 2 - 5yd passes that caused the receiver, RB or TE to make circus catches because you couldn't even hit your target between their shoulder blades! Prescott, quit trying to play the blame game because you can't elevate your game like a average NFL QB can. Here's hoping the Boys win out as Prescott sits his fat *** on the bench!

What would a team be willing to trade for a guy who becomes a free agent on March 12, 2025? Why not wait? Wouldn’t his agent suggest waiting to sign with a team he’s comfortable with, unless of course, Dallas offers him a more lucrative contract than he could get from another team? And then who would trade for him?
That’s already been addressed.

I think Rush not playing well is the only chance of seeing Lance. We might be realistically done after this coming weekend, but I wouldn't expect the Joneses or McCarthy to accept that and wave the white flag.

If we don't trade Lance before the trade deadline, we won't get another chance because he's a free agent in the offseason. We rightfully declined his $22 million fifth-year option. I guess we could technically trade him before free agency starts to a team that wants to get him under contract but doesn't want to fight for him in FA, but how often does that actually happen? He'd definitely have to prove himself to the point where there were several contenders to sign him.
We’ve covered it. We’ll see how it plays out.

BEST NEWS ALL YEAR

Receivers are going to have to adjust to accurate balls being thrown now.
Say it ain't so. I car remember people arguing about how Dak has terrific accuracy. The 50 likes tells the story.

what ever no big deal

drop off from 2024 dak to rush is zero

only bad thing is it give jerry even more excuse so now even less likly for real change prolly gonna give mccarthy a new contract lolol
This team is doomed with Dak at QB anyways so they could fire McCarthy or give him another 4 year contract and it would make no difference.

This team isn’t going to improve until Dak is cut, MM and his coach friends are gone, and Jerry and his family flee the country on their yachts for good
