I think you have to admit, he landed on a super machine of a team in 2016. He didn't really have to do a lot. Then he kept the job out of superstition. (By Jerry's OWN words...don't mess with winning...or something like that).

I wouldn't go so far as to say he'd be out by now. But not many rookie QB's get to start with that. And it bought him a bunch of years...I'd say.
