He's statistically the best third down QB in the league, and since 2019 this offense is #1 in the league in yards, points and third down % in games he's started.

At this point those claiming he isnt a top 10 QB have the burden of proof. The objective metrics say he is. The "feels" and "eye test" metrics are what they must rely on.

He also ran up the middle vs SF w no TO left and has a losing record vs teams with a winning record .

I think Dak played a pretty mediocre game vs the Texans, but the 98 yard drive was brilliant. The Texans may only have1 win, but their D played pretty dam well. Dak was threading the needle in some really small openings on that last drive.

If Houston wasnt so pathetic and cashed in one of the worst picks I ever saw in 50 plus years of watching football like any average team does, this goes down as one of the most embarassing losses in franchise history. Almost as bad as losing to them in 2002.

Almost no one played up to expectations, including Dak and including Mika( who was standing on the sidelines resting to often for someone who wants to be the Defensive MVP).
At least Dak regrouped and had a masterful last drive.

My point is that all these supposed qb gurus using the vaunted 'eye test' could not pick a better qb if given the chance. Most of the guys screaming about how garbage dak is are the same ones who were here hyping up the red rifle a couple years ago. . Listen, I think Dak is a good qb with lots of room for improvement. He's not the #1 guy in the league but he's far from our weakest link.
