This thread wasn't to bash Dak, it's to acknowledge that both players are pretty similar and need a lot of help if they're ever going to win anything

sounds like an excuse like Hurts is on better team, Purdy on a better team etc etc etc etc so not the team excuse is for a QB unlike ours don't get that excuse lie the playoff games where lets see 2016 defense lost that one, 2018 defense/coaching lost the rams game, 2021 No run game 14 penalties, OL not very good, oops same with the 22 9er game, no run support, poor OL as well as Diggs's ,Schultz, maher, and Gallup all making mistakes etc etc etc

as does all players. Its pretty much the same for all qbs who are top 10 Kirk and Dak along with the rest need team to show up to win. ask Marino how that feels. Burrows? he just lost , Allen out , trevor , all could have used soem help advancing like Hurts won with the run game , OL and defense all came to play sprinkled in with luck.. Purdy going down and fumbling helped a lot..

The O-Line has been consistently ranked within the top 5 outside of what, one season? What the hell are you on about? Dak has been one of the most privileged QBs in the league in this regard. Zeke got a major contract because of them. So much so he bought them all expensive gifts because without them, he would have looked like trash sooner.

Also, how about learning to read? My argument was you can get by with cheap RBs and WRs....because you can. You also forgot to mention the team that lost, had Deebo Samuel CMC at WR and RB. You can get by in this league without great WRs and RBs, you know, like the Chiefs have the past 5 seasons. WRs and RBs don't pick up the slack, O-Lines and QBs do.

Hurts definitely has to prove this year isn't a fluke, but so far two years starting, he has two playoffs appearances with one of them leading to a Superbowl. Also why did the eagles go 0-2 when hurts was out, and Dallas went 5-1, if the eagles have the superior players and scheme?

that is a poor example. there are many factors that can contribute to a loss in an NFL season. And while Hurts does more for mobility at QB with that offense, his overall skill of putting the team on his back is still a question to be had. His defense seems to be the driving force for the team, which is crucial for an SB run. Since the start, I said we need to see so much more from Hurts to consider him elite.
