Let me be honest here and I am saying this as a Dak fan:

We have all seen what the best from him looks like. The latest example was the Tampa Bay wild card game, when he had a running game, time in the pocket, and receivers getting separation for him. He was able to either get the ball out of his hands quickly or had enough time to move around and wait for someone to come open.

When any of the above doesn't happen he fails. Against the 49ers the Cowboys could not run the ball, the protection was "meh" at best, and San Fran only had to worry about CeeDee Lamb.

Want to get farther with Dak? Stop making him do too much. Surround him with more weapons like the Eagles did with Hurts. Call plays that suit him instead of trying to turn him into Patrick Mahomes. The Cowboys need to do some serious self-scouting because I still believe they can win a Super Bowl with Dak. QB's of his ilk have done so multiple times.

No Doubt, but I am not one of those people that think Kirk is the Bane of QB's. He's just not as good as Dak. So, Dak ain't as good as Mahomes and on and on

I don't get the point of these types of arguments. It's clear you guys don't like Dak, , I got a pretty good read on the why. So I try to stay out of these conversations.

Since 2016 Kirk cousins has thrown 205 touchdowns and 75 interceptions, and a 1-3 playoff record.

Washington is probably wishing they held on to Kirk Cousins. They haven’t had a winning season since they let him walk. While Cousins has been leading the Vikings to the playoffs most of the years he’s been in Minnesota, Washington has been sitting home. They wasted a first round pick on Dwayne Haskins and more picks on Carson Wentz. Ever since they let Cousins walk, they’ve been looking for a QB. He’s not great, but he gave them a chance and was far better than any of the QBs they’ve been stuck with since. A lot of Cowboys fans apparently want the Cowboys to end up like Washington. Had the Cowboys allowed Dak to walk a couple of years ago they would still be looking for a QB and would’ve been sitting home for the playoffs each year.
