They made a great point about Staford, without Kup that SB would never happen.
Of course. W/o great D's, Brady's super bowls never happen.

W/o a great pass rush, Eli wins none.

W/o BJ Raji, Rodgers doesn't win one.

W/o a great D, Rothy wins none.

W/o a great D, Payton doesn't win his 2nd.

You can do that w/ all super bowl winning QBs. So, it's not a great point at all, it's more of stating the obvious.

I don't have a problem with some of that because Dak is better than some here give him credit for (as was Romo), but I can't put him ahead of Burrow.

I'd swap Dak for Burrow in a heartbeat. Dak is good, but Burrow is special. We haven't had special since Aikman. We haven't won anything, either.
We will see about Burrow. Sure, great season last year but lets see how he follows it up.

I am not on the "omgz he is so amazing" bandwagon like most. IMO, he isn't in the Allen, Rodgers, Mahomes category.

Burrows is better than Dak. The way he was able to do as much as he did while running for his life is proof of that.
Burrows is a freak and just nasty good. I wouldn't argue if someone put him top 5 already. He's been that good from the start.

Putting him below most QB's would make someone appear not too football savvy. I mean, you've obviously got Brady and Rodgers and Mahomes. Putting him at 4 is what I would do, and it makes sense.

The Bengals O-Line is what posters here think the Cowboys O-Line is.
Remember in 2018 when Dak got sacked 56 (5 more than Burrow) times and took us to the 2nd round of the playoffs and got 0 credit from people like you?

I do.

The only ranking that matters is the team at the end of the entire season.

HE took us?

Did HE also lose in the divisional round?

No, that was our defense that was ground up and spit out.

If they would have showed up and gave at least an average performance, ya know like Burrow got, we would have won that game too.

To put it in perspective....our defense gave up more rushing yards in that single game than the Bengals did in all of the playoffs and super bowl last year.

DAK'S FAULT- OMGz Burrow!!!!

Man, you must simply not be watching him. He's been amazing his entire 2 year career.

Listen to the scouting reports after his first season, cut short after 10 games due to injury: "Burrow put together one of the most productive starts to a career in NFL history before injury. He was on pace to shatter numerous Bengals single season records along w/ NFL rookie passing marks. His 264 completions were the most ever through is first 10 games. And w/ a poor OLine."

I have no idea what makes you not impressed w/ Burrow, but you are in a minority that is so tiny, it really doesn't even exist.

BTW, I did not believe in Burrow coming in to the NFL. He quickly convinced me, and in a huge way. Only thing that would stop him from being Bradylike would be injuries. He is cut from the same mold.

Yup. While we were out signing old dudes like Poe and McCoy and Haha and backups like Canady, they picked up DJ Reader. If our GM would've seen to that instead of JAGs, we would've won a playoff game.

Oh...

So HE gets the wins, but everyone else gets the loses.

I understand now.

Admittedly, I don't know him like I do some other players. I have been trying to catch up with him. From what I have seen, I am not seeing the play that lines up with his accolades.

I am not scared to be out on an island on my analysis....i was one of the very few who had Wentz pegged.

I would love to see the stats on winning percentages when your team gives up 300+ yards rushing. It must be in the single digits.

Sorry. Yes, in this instance, it wasn't his fault.

I dunno about that stat...

BUT I do know that the Dak Prescott lead Cowboys in his entire career has only won like 8 games where we had under 100 yards rushing...

That's your hero :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Man, you gotta watch this kid. He's special, in the Tom Brady mold. Be a shame if they don't put a team around him, especially an OLine. W/ Cappa and Karras added, along w/ our own Lael Collins, he should hv at least a decent OL. Collins has fleas, yes, but the one thing that stands out is that you cannot push him around.
