$10-15k a month is what Dak pays for lawn maintenance, at his income level it’s very insignificant.

Dak has more important things to worry about, such as getting a crappy organization, a crappy defense, and an unproven (possibly crappy) coach to a Super Bowl while trying to overcome the worst GM in the league. a lot of crappy for him to work thru, but pretty sure the woman ain't gonna be on his mind when he's flying that offense to #1 in the league yet again while his defense might let him down once more.

Basically rich people, do rich people stuff all the time. Dak ain't the first NFL player to demolish and rebuild a "new-ish" house, watch HGTV or the millions of other shows that document rich people doing rich people s...

Also, Its dishonest to act like you're some financial moral compass, when we've all done stupid stuff with money...

Im hearing reports that the breakup is due to her refusing to sign a prenuptial agreement.

If thats the case then he's actually out of HER league. It must be nice to be considered a bum, yet the "hot woman" isn't in that bum's league.

If those reports are true that she has a problem signing a prenup, then Dak can easily do much better with a more successful and much hotter woman who has her own or the ability to make her own.
 
First of all, there is no way Dak's agent or attorneys would allow him to get married without a prenup. I don't know the divorce laws in Texas, but of course his attorneys would advise him to protect whatever he owned prior to his marriage. There are two schools of thought about this outside of the legal questions. One is, if you love a person unconditionally, you don't even ask for a prenup because it implies a lack of trust. The other is you sign the prenup because you are marrying for love, not money.

IMO, famous people need prenups because there are lots of gold diggers out there and in love is not a good place to be when making financial decisions. If she won't sign the prenup, to me that is at least a yellow flag, maybe even a red one. With more than half of marriages ending in divorce prenups are essential if you go into a relationship with lots of assets. I get the other point of view too. I'd still ask for a prenup.

In any case, she has kids with him so he can expect a pretty sizeable child support payment which will still allow her to live comfortably.

Clearly she's not as intelligent as Jerry, because if she was, she would have been more successful and financially established to the point that a prenuptial agreement wouldn't be an necessary option for the other person involved.
 
All I can say is Sarah Jane played her hand wrong, she did nothing to better herself while being with a superstar and that is why there is a problem with the prenup.
