Hi.
I see many complaining that Dak underthrew that pass. I don't see it that way... Given the game situation (3rd down and 7), when you make the decision to go deep, you want to give yourself the best opportunity to convert. On that particular play the CB is beat, butcthe safety is angling towards the sideline... By underthrowing it, Dak opened up the opportunity for his receiver to come back to the ball and make the catch or pass interference by the CB who is trying to catch up and isn't looking for the ball..
Its hard to understand why people just can't get exactly what you wrote. Its a really good throw (slight underthrow) for a "playmaking" type reciever. These where the types of passes that dez thrived off of.I see many complaining that Dak underthrew that pass. I don't see it that way... We will never know if he threw it back and go to the sideline on purpose or not, unless somebody asks Dak directly. So you may be right.
But either way it was a good play by Dak and a great play by Gallup. The end result is all that matters. I’ll take 31 yard gains all day.
I will be beyond shocked if Prescott receives anything under 32.5....he will get around 30 or just bit under.
Seriously can't wait for Dak to sign his 37m a year contract, watching half of this forums heads explode is going to be incredible.
Let’s hope you disappear.Let's hope Dak and Pollard face the Rams 2nd stringers all season long baby!!!!!
The haters like @PAPPYDOG never comment on the good plays Dak makes. If there’s any question of a throw, they will crawl out of their crack and pound their little chests in glory. Its hard to understand why people just can't get exactly what you wrote. Dak and Pollard did both look good.
Dak underthrew the Gallup pass a bit. But it was at least still catchable and Gallup made a really nice play.
So that’s some progress.
Tony made a living throwing those balls like that to Dez. I especially like the fact that Dak put a lot of air on the ball where it was catchable for Gallup.

No quarterback is required to throw perfect passes every time. However, it is the receiver's only job to haul in every catchable pass.Oh yeah. It wasn’t a bad throw by any means.
I’m sure some will say it was. But it wasn’t.
Not perfect. But a good ball.
Dak showed a lot of poise in that drive. Twice.
Backed upped, he moved the ball, then sacked, and again, moved the ball, all the way for a TD.
I don't care it was against the Rams backups. They did what they were supposed to do, the entire offense. Execute the plays. This gives some encouragement and without Zeke and Tyron and Zack.
It also shows something good about Moore.
Yeah, so what against backup in a PS game. They looked good.

The defender was oblivious covering Gallup. Gallup located the ball, adjusted to the ball and made a hell of a catch.
Pass. Catch. Move the Chains. Football. That should be the end of it.
Of course you don't because that would negate your whole postDak showed a lot of poise in that drive. Twice.

Connor Williams got blown up badly on that TD run. Thankfully Pollard bounced off the tackle.
Connor also looked bad on another play this video shows.
It’s all good I knew what you were saying. I misspell stuff all the time because I can’t spell. Lol.I use speak and text. Neuropathy. Nerve damage military nerve damage in my fingers so I can't type. I know it was misspelled. Thank you for being subtle about it. I'm from the old Cowboys fan forum most people know me already and they let it slide. Appreciate the same down the road my cowboy brother
I agree with the assessment. But there's really no need to over analyze it. The pass wasn't perfect but not all passes are. Dak and Gallup made the big play on third down. That's all that needs to be said.I see many complaining that Dak underthrew that pass. I don't see it that way...
