Blaming Jerry is a copout. It's like blaming the weather for a football loss.

Jerry is not making Dak a bad passer. He IS tolerating Dak as QB1.

Broaddus' theory is that Jerry doesn't believe in Dak, but was pressured by Stephen and Will to sign Dak. Now that he sucks - just as Jerry suspected he would - he can't throw them under the bus and has to eat it...so he lashed out.

So again, while Jerry might be the source of the problem, he's not the reason why Dak chokes. Dak chokes because HE IS A CHOKER...and Jerry sucks because he tolerates the choker.
Extremely inaccurate parallel.

Is the weather in charge of football?

It does not in the N.F.L. either. It is not the player's responsibility to keep the gang together or chime in on the operations budget. If a team does not have the salary cap space to sign a star, he is often free to go to the highest bidder. Why should a star take a pay cut when other guys can go to another team to get their money if need be.

Peope fall for the okie dokie and the crab mentality created by owners. Educated men or men with good council will not fall for such a low brow scheme.
It is the player's responsibility to help win a super bowl. Insisting on huge maxed out deals does the opposite, especially when said player will only sign short term deals, which makes it a complete surety that no super bowl will happen.

Smart men know this.

Responsibility involves control. Players do not control finances. Who is to say that If I take less - like Brady did - the Patriots will spend wisely? It's a RISKY BET on behalf of a player...NOT their "responsibility". On the field? Yes. Off the field? Not their responsibility.

That is your perspective. The perspective of others is that there is more of a visable impact, where you can see someone trying to get 60 million a year, and you can see the talent drop off and the team not being able to get new weapons and keep the supporting cast at the same level before. And the person who is fighting for all that money knows he might be adverse impacting the team but greed of me me me keeps makes him listen to his agent versus someone like Brady who wants to win deciding that he is rich anyway and will take a deal that will help him and the team win another superbowl. Then we can also see as fans if they player taking a deal was worth it and not, and as fans can be upset at both our idiot owner and the greedy player. That's you who believes you can't get mad at the player for exploiting the situation. Others have a right to a different opinion, as in saying geez this guy is stinking it up and hurting this team for years to come.
My issue with this logic is that we have seen that Dak can't win REGARDLESS. He's a choker...he'll choke with Derrick Henry and he'll choke without him.

I don't want Dak to take less...I want Dak GONE. G-O-N-E.

Is Jerry making Dak throw INTs? Extremely clumsy retort.

How did we win with Troy, Michael and Emmitt if Jerry is magically controlling his players performance?
Yes, he is. Poor WR corps and questionable OL. Poor D makes the QB have to play hero ball just to have a chance to win. Jerry is in charge of the roster. And the coaches.

Was paying Dak 60 mil/per a good idea? That's on the GM.

A beyond clumsy retort.

Of course players control part of the finances.

Now, if Dak knows that this is a clusterfudge and he won't win here so he might as well get paid as much as he can, then I don't blame him. If Dak thinks we can win a super bowl w/ paying him 60 mil, then he is a very dumb man.

Ummm no. The NFL is a BUSINESS. And that business is for entertainment only. It is not to make your Super Bowl dream come true. That is a fan want. Not a need for entertainment purposes only.

People like you fall for the same okie dokie/crab mentality created by Jerry and other owners. Yet Jerry is the man who spearheaded the induction of the salary cap for which he is unable to navigate.

The time to debate about the amount of money allocated for players vs. ownership is during the collective bargaining agreement. That is where the players financial responsibilty ends.

We do not have "poor WRs". Again, you are compromised by a Dak-centric view of the world. Mahomes would consider our receiving corp an upgrade. So would Josh Allen ...even after the Amari trade. So would the Jets. Are you getting the point? TRULY ELITE QBs do not need to have the best at every position...if you do...you are not elite.

I blame Jerry for tolerating Dak. But I do not blame Jerry for Dak's failures. He has surrounded Dak by the best rosters in football by most reasonable people's opinions the last few years. We had the #1 offense for crying out loud. He invested in the line...he invested in WRs for Dak. At SOME POINT...Dak is not good enough. He's not elite. He's a choker...a good QB that crumbles in big moments or big games.

You keep advocating throwing time, money and resources at a loser. You provide a final grade for everyone around Dak...but for SOME REASON Dak's grade is not complete until we get him the very best at every position.

Players do not control ANY of the finances. They can only control what they will sign for...but they can't generate offers. They don't manage other salaries. They don't assign value to other players. They don't draft. They don't forecast the cap.

Stop it...you're talking like you know what you're talking about...using worlds like "parallel" instead ...never mind. Just stop it. You are making stuff up now. If you watched any player...they will tell you that they don't control the finances of the team. Dak himself just said so...he was moping like a helpless puppy until he got signed...because he's not in control of any of it.

Exactly. Dak had the best wr corps in football vs. SF in their first playoff meeting. He choked. The Cowboys defense showed up big in the second playoff game against SF for 3.5 quarters. And Dak pooped the bed in that game.

Armchair argument. Dak isn't responsible for the 24 million in cap space available or the 22+ million in dead.

I 100% agree with everything you said. Dak has been given all the tools to succeed....

Bottom line is, Dak can't get it done when it matters.

I don't believe he would be able to win a SB anywhere because his Decisions making has not changed from day 1 till now. He makes the same mistakes, Nothing has gotten better. Maybe mechanics and foot work but it looks the same as when he first stepped on the field.

He is the definition of GOOD. He will never elevate the play of those around him.

That is the point. They all are businesses intended to make a profit. Only difference is the entertainment industry often gives you false hope. Paying other men to achieve their dreams while we watch is what it is. A fanatic attempting to live vicariously through someone elses accomplishments.

In other words.......pure entertainment.

Lol when did I say he shouldn’t have taken the money? This is a performance based business. You cant be the highest paid QB in the sport and be 2nd in the league in interceptions, bottom third in completion % and QBR without people questioning your contract.

Can you let me know how many interceptions the QB of the Kansas City Chiefs has thrown? And what their team's record is? I'll hang up and listen, thanks.

Mahomes doesn't think so. He signed a team friendly deal so he could win super bowls.

The players who think as you do are greedy little nuggets and extreme narcissists.
