Barely beat a bad rams team.

Beat the cardinals by 7.

Scored 42 on the seahawks but gave up 29 points and 395 passing yards to Gino Smith.

I dont think they are exactly setting the NFL on fire.

Winnable game but with our injuries on defense it will be tough.

Yeah I question our defense against them but if healthy or healthier then we are this is a winnable game. Lions defense is probably the best matchup we’ve seen all year due to their coverage.

Yeah if we lose I can understand if it’s the defense that failed us. But if the offense can’t put points up they need to address some things during the bye…..

Our biggest problem is Gibbs and Montgomery. Those two are a force, and it's not like you can cheat when you still have ARSB, WIlliamson and LaPorta.

It's really big we got that win in Pittsburgh. Going 3-3 into the bye isn't the end of the world. However, 4-2 would be a massive accomplishment.

Agree with OP but this is NOT the same Lions team from the past and we have some key injuries. This is one I will be more surprised/happy by a win than disappointed by a loss.

Just curious how is this team different from last years team?

Our next 5 opponents defenses:

Lions: 349, 9 tds
49ers: 307, 11 tds
Falcons: 335, 10 tds
Eagles: 365, 10 tds
Texans: 274, 13 tds

That Lions offense is pretty stacked
Best O-line
Great RB tandem
Good weapons
Decent QB...unless you pressure him

Er, yeah. I would suggest that at no point in those previous meetings were Detroit playing at the level they are currently. Also, we have a bunch of injuries and our own form is probably best described as inconsistent.

In truth, Dallas are 5-0 with Prescott as starting QB. Wins and or losses are a team stat.

As much as I believe we can win on Sunday, it will be our hardest game so far this season.

Keep that same energy if we lose in the playoffs again.

The team we have at this point is the question, defense injuries would it catch up with us or our backups grit it out and stop the high power offense , whether Dak and offense will make use of opportunities and score freely? If these things happen we can beat the lions .

Now against niners all bets are off , they seem to have the kryptonite .

Detroit has been decent the past few years already. Maybe you thinking of the Pistons
