No way in hell is he the terrible passer that Tebow is. His mechanics are light years better than Tebow. He IS the type of guy that, if coached up, can be a very good QB. Most importantly, this dude makes everybody around him better. He has the same shot as any of the so-called can't miss guys (Goff, Lynch, etc...) to succeed. Hell, unlike Lynch, Prescott has shown repeatedly that he can make the "Pro" throws.
That was last years comparison. He has improved as a pure passer this year. Not sure he is starter material. Could be a 3rd rounder if a few teams fall in love, or could be a 4th rounder who is looked at as a quality long term backup.
Id take a flier on him with the comp 4th if we draft a QB in the first. Going into a transition phase at QB it might be good to have a options. It saved the Commanders this year with Cousins when RG3 failed hard, although I don't know if Cousins has a long term future in Washington
