He’s taken some sacks on 3rd downs and the endzone fumble vs Philly surely cost him.

QBR weighs things like that heavily.

Small sample size. I’m guessing he’ll be top 10 in QBR by the end of the year.

QBR tracks everything. Dak is hurt because so far he does not throw the ball down the field or scramble for lots of yards. Murray should dominate QBR.

So basically, looking at that ranking, we enter this game with the Giants at a QB disadvantage.

Thoughts?
They should trash the QBR system and just use traditional quarterback rating . Those are my thoughts .

I don’t think it’s based on 1 play

He has 17 runs on the season thus far, I frankly do not want to see him run a lot but it is important to this team that he can still tuck the ball and pick up critical yards. That 4th and 2 if we fail, we set up Carolina with very good field position.

It's the same old story.
When the team is winning and some stat(s) points to Dak not being a top quarterback it's "See, his rating shows he's not that good".

When the team isn't playing well and Dak has great stats it's "Stats don't matter, it's wins that count", Dak's not that good.

Guess that'll never change...

All that matters to me is 3-1....and he got them there and nearly 4-0 if a break goes our way....he's playing like an mvp

Without his 188 yards there's no telling what would have happened against the Panthers.

He was the difference maker.

Pay that man 40 million.

The only stat or ranking I care about is winning. If Dak becomes the reason we lose instead of one of the reasons we win, then I’ll be interested.

Because stats are stupid.

Just like when some of you were bragging about his garbage time stats last year these stats are just as dumb.

Dak’s playing great obviously.

He actually looked quicker than he did in the previous weeks I thought.
I think its a matter of taking a year off from injury and getting back to the speed of the game.

In this case however Dak is playing good and stats show it. Only an idiot would use yards as a measuring stick of how a QB is playing. Dak is out there running this offense and being highly effective. He is 3 in TD only behind Mahomes and Stafford. High completion rate with 8 yard avg per pass which is still higher than Rodgers and lastly 3-1 on the season winning on road and winnng vs top contending teams. To those still harping on Dak, get a clue then man is balling

proof of how useless that stat is. He is completing over 75% of his passes, has a 5 to 1 TD/INT ratio and is 3-1.

His QBR against the Eagles is the one — that fumble for an Eagle TD must count a lot.
