6-5 overall.

Top 5 QBs are Herbert, Stafford, Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson. Omitting Burrow because he's never played Burrow.

Confused as to this day this "Dak beats bad teams" nonsense. Every record I compile proves otherwise. Those are some of the best regarded QBs in the league. Best QBs usually field dominant teams, so a great QB has a high correlation with a quality team being a quality team - and Dak is one game above .500 against Top 5 QBs.

That's not bad in my opinion. Surely this "Dak beats bad teams" thing is just fluff at this point. And even those comments are fading with each passing year - once you leave this board.

Right.
When Dallas wins, it is the team.
When they lose it is Dak's fault. Even with the depleted defense from injuries. There were those that blamed Dak.
Right, it's a team sport until we lose because of Dak.

And then with those on the other side it's the complete inverse yet both sides call the other out for it as if they aren't doing the exact same thing...

You lost me at column “Dak’s record”. It’s a team game. It’s not tennis.
The first two words in the title of the thread are "Dak record". The OP then tries to stitch together some warped version of logic to say that since the QB was good then the team must be good so therefore Prescott beat a good team. For example, the OP is giving credit to Prescott for beating Mahomes last season and since Mahomes is a good QB that must mean that Prescott beat a good team.

Were the Chiefs a good team last year?

Come on man. How can you balk at the column titled "Dak's Record" while completely ignoring the entire premise the OP is trying to sell?

That is some high quality delusion going on there.

Dak era playoffs

In the 2 games the offense has won he had 5 TD's and 1 INT while scoring an average of 27.5 points (Very good)

In the 5 games the offense has lost he had 9 TD's and 6 INT's while scoring an average of 22.8 points (Poor, with most of those points coming in the 3rd - 4th)

In example of the 3rd and 4th scoring

2017 vs Packers 18 out of 31 points scored in the 4th Quarter after being down by 3 scores

2022 vs 49'rs 10 out of 17 points scored in the 4th Quarter after being down by 3 scores

2023 vs 49'rs 6 out of 12 points coming in last play of third and 4th Quarter after being down by 2 scores

2024 vs Packers 25 points out of 32 points coming in the 3rd and 4th Quarters after being down by by 41 points

Now the defence

In the 2 games won the defense let the opposing offense score an average of 18 points. (Very good)

In the 5 games lost the defense let the opposing offense score an average of 31 points. (Horrible, unacceptable)

Both Dak's Offense, and the Defense play poorly in the playoffs compared to how they play in the regular season.

I get your point and don't disagree with it overall but this particular statement doesn't represent reality very well.

2 of those five games the defense allowed much less than that average and were very acceptable. The other three they got taken behind the woodshed.

But yea, plenty of blame to go around, overall.

Lol, the Chiefs were terrible last year.

You can't dance around the truth with silly, meaningless stats. They mean zero.

The clear and obvious truth is, every time he's played against a legit contender in a big game late in the season, Dak has played horribly. And don't give me the games against Tampa and Green Bay. Those were not contending teams, and he fell away behind Green Bay before he stats'd it up, and then the Packers got obliterated the following week.

He can change that narrative with performance. So far, he hasn't. Hopefully he will soon. It's time he did.

At the end of day regardless of what side you are on we know Dak has struggled with the 49ers when it comes to the playoffs. He needs to play better. The team does as well but he’s the one that needs to rise up when everyone else struggles. It’s just what it is. Unfair or not that’s the qb position

I’ve always felt this team was soft and too soft to be a real playoff team.

This is the first year I’ve felt at least up front we are on the right track with having a playoff front.

Now look at Troy's record when Emmett Smith did not play.

Meaningless. No one is ever going to suggest Jalen Hurts is a top NFL quarterback and what is his record vs. the six quarterbacks you’ve listed?

Yep this idea that Dak beats bad teams is a myth. Just go back and watch Jacoby Brissett pants Dak last year. The Cardinals were horrible and Dak couldn’t move the ball.

Yet you’re ok with the OP calling it Daks record?

I’m with you in the fact that teams win/lose games not QBs, but the title of the thread kinda opened it up others cherry-picking Daks “record”
