Dak Rules! He's a good QB

He's a good kid....he's not Roger Staubach, but he doesn't deserve they hate he gets.

The problem is that Dak is competing on a professional sports team. This isn't a softball league where all your buddies get together to have fun playing a game and then go drink beers afterwards. They're paid to win games and hopefully compete for championships - period. Do we want a roster of boy scouts who are just happy to be there or do we want a roster of passionate champions who want to crush the competition? I'll take the latter...

So what if Dak is a good guy off the field, he isn't receiving any criticism for his off the field behavior. But he gets plenty for his on field performances, and has earned every last bit of it.

Dak's ability to handle the crap teams is well documented, but so is his inability to handle the better teams as we saw just a week after the TB game.

Lots of us said the same about Romo and lots of us were right, but not everything you say is. However, I think you may be right about Dak.

Dak and Romo werent the problem in Dallas. Jerry is the problem and his inability to build a proper contender around either of them. Romo and Dak could win championships but not in Dallas. Not with Jerry and his flaws as a GM.

Dak beats great teams! Just look at the 2 wildcard wins in his 7 year career as proof.

We are what we are this era whether our QB was Romo or Prescott. There has been one constant throughout . That is our standard and will be until he’s done . The bar has been lowered as a result.

He is a good QB. But he has choked the last game of the season 2 years in a row and overall has a disappointing history in the playoffs.

His biggest problem is simple. No matter what he does, he can't overcome the fact he won't ever lead a team to a super bowl victory.

Unfortunately for him, the team he plays for has that exact standard. So he would be better off on a team that would be thrilled just to make the playoffs.

Yea, he doesn’t fare well against top defenses .

Im not really sure we can say we have that championship standard anymore. Maybe another 10 -20 years all fans will finally accept this isn’t the franchise most grew up with.

27 years hasn’t been long enough to lower the bar for all fans. It will probably take the last two generations dying off.

I feel the same. I was willing to give Dak the benefit of the doubt until this last season. Good defenses know how to get Dak to turn over the ball. I was ok with Dak being a bus-driver but not this. He's not an elite QB and never should have been paid like one.
