The good QB did not show up vs the Whiners. In our most important game Dak was outplayed by a rookie! There is a good Dak, and a bad Dak. Dak is to inconsistent. Didn’t he lead the league in interceptions per game?
I was always a Dak supporter, but you never know which QB will show up.

We need to improve the defense as much as possible( we need a dominant D with Dak), the O line needs to get healthy, and improve at our 2nd receiver spot. This will allow Dak to just drive the bus. Dak should be a play action QB with a really good running attack. The key is a dominant D! This puts less pressure on Dak.

I’m not sure what MM will come up with but a good run game, more passing on early downs, more short yardage passes on early downs, then play action over the top is the best way to may a good QB look great and have a consistent scoring offense who matches up against really good teams

He is a good QB. But he has choked the last game of the season 2 years in a row and overall has a disappointing history in the playoffs.

His biggest problem is simple. No matter what he does, he can't overcome the fact he won't ever lead a team to a super bowl victory.

Unfortunately for him, the team he plays for has that exact standard. So he would be better off on a team that would be thrilled just to make the playoffs.

since when did dak lose these games on his own? how about the rams 18 game 250 yards given up by the defense, how about the 16 playoff game defense choked. Coaches, players all around had hand in both 9er losses..16 run plays called is a joke, when they did run it was like 2YPC sure was nice Mahomes had OC/HC and they brought it hard in the 2nd half with a RUN GAME and timely pass pays where the OL gave up zero sacks etc etc etc

I’ve seen it too. I’ve seen all kinds of things. I’ve seen Dak play well, and I’ve seen him play poorly. The wins aren’t all him. Neither are the losses. Team game.

I think that was mostly Diehard's point. And that was that 15 ints in a pass happy league is low.
Your counter is perfect in that while all other NFL offenses are throwing less ints in a full 17 game schedule, our starting QB can't seem to do the same in 5 less games.

I doubt every season going back in NFL history all of those QB’s played every game.

But I think the bigger stat is 15 int led the league especially in a pass happy league.

I’m not trying to diminish his poor season as such but it appears just another stat line the bashers are using. I think proper perspective is important.

Dak was averaging a little over 1 int/game, if he played a full season he'd likely have 20 or 21.

But I agree, there are some wild numbers on the list. Jameis Winston had 30 in 2019, Eli had years with 25 and 27, Roethlisberger had 23 one season. And I have no idea how in George Blanda's era he managed 42 one year, an all-time league high.

Dak wasn't good this year, but he wasn't historically bad. But we aren't going to win with that kind of play.
