You like one play over 15 yards?

Bradford threw the ball 45 times and had 3 passes over 15 yards (Johnson 25, Thielen 23, Rudolph 17)

Dak threw the ball 18 times and had 3 passes over 15 yards (Bryant 56, Williams 18, Elliot 16).

Which one p!ayed against the better defense? Dak may have not had a great or even good game passing but to say Bradford outplayed him is just not accurate, especially when you factor the difference in levels between the two defenses they were facing

The Vikings have made every QB they've played look bad. However, Dak didn't turn the ball over and he kept the chains moving on drives that were killed by penalties.

Actually Dak did turn it over. With a fumble.

None the less he got the W. Made some nice plays. They're not all going to be beautiful. He got a ugly win here. Nothing to be ashamed of.

But it's not a knock on him to simply acknowledge that for the most part tonight it wasnt a good night for Dak. But if he can still get the W even when he's not at his best is there any reason to complain?

Listen all, before anyone says Dak had a bad game, at least wait until either the all-22 film comes out or you rewatch the game. At this point, we just don't know. I'll go and look through the game again tomorrow and I'll give my assessment. But people always assume the worst. We act as if we're 8-4 trying to get into the playoffs.

Okay, just checking. You came off a little like you were complaining like a lot of other Romo homers on here. They just can't wait for Romo to take over. It's not going to happen. The guy is a rookie, and he keeps passing test after test. A 4th round rookie going 11-1 is kind of amazing, yet guys can do nothing but complain. If we don't win a Super Bowl this year, I'll blame those bad vibes on the Romo lovers.

They are the only ones pulling the mojo down.

Romo is my favorite Cowboy ever, but I was off that train after Dak beat Pit. It was a done deal after that.

I thought he did ok. He's a game manager... you can't get mad at the game manager when the receivers don't get separation and the blocking is inconsistent. The runs really hurt them.
The All-22 might be ugly though. With as much box stacking as they were doing to stop Zeke, I wouldn't be surprised to see more wide open streaking receiver gifs during a lot of the dinking and dunking.

I'm surprised they didn't follow the script of the Balty game. We were looking for the deep pass and realized that wasn't working and went to short passing game. It was almost stubbornness from Linny and JG which we've seen before.

12 completions. Two fumbles. Held the ball too long all night. He was lost.

He's a rookie. This is to be expected.

Yeah I meant to say interception.

Not to harp on the refs but we were moving the ball well but kept getting plays called back to penalties.

Even if you don't, the Cowboys are still tied for most wins against teams with winning records at 4.
Name the good teams Dallas has beaten. The league blows.

11 games in a row is awesome, but it does come with an asterisk.

Oh stop your crying.

Just because some people can admit when it's not the best game by Dak doesn't mean it's because theyre waiting for it to be taken away from him.

He's the starting QB in Dallas. Period. Everyone knows that.

And just like every other starting QB in Dallas history that means he is going to have less than stellar games and YES he can be critized for it.

I know it hurts some people's souls around here to ever say anything less than Dak is a God but that's tough.

He wasn't tonight. But what he did do was enough to win. And wins are all that matters.

10th game with a quarterback rating of 100+ rating. 108.3. Ugly no doubt but still a win. His legs were the difference in the game for the second week in a row.
I agree that his scrambles were the MVP of the game. Back breakers to the Vikings D. Had to frustrate the crap out of em.

For the love of Pete, Dak is a freaking rookie!!

Doesn't it stand to reason that he will work on his faults in the next few years, and might actually improve on his deficiencies?

Given where he's starting his totally unmatched career, I just don't get why fans don't wrap themselves in their Cowboy blankees and thank the football gods for the gift we've been given.

this is why i dont like this fan site sometimes. hard fought game that we still won and some of you are still negative

im out

11-1 GO COWBOYS!!!!

1. For much of the game we had no pass rush against perhaps the worst line in the league.
2. Pass coverage is for the most part below average.
3. If we don't improve 1 and 2 Eli and company could pass for 400 yards.

First of all, we had more than one pass play longer than 15 yards. And I don't care how many plays over 15 yards we had. I care about yards per attempt. Dak's 7.72 was a little lower than usual, but it would rank among the top 10 for the season, and it's better than Bradford has had in any of his past seven games. Meanwhile, Bradford's 5.49 was lower than Dak has had in any of his past 11 games -- BY ALMOST 2 YARDS PER ATTEMPT -- and would rank dead last for the season.

I get what your saying. Dak sets an impressive NFL record for rookie quarterbacks and we get a lot of bellyaching. We should be enjoying every victory. This team has exceeded all expectations no matter what happens from here on out. I've enjoyed this season as much as any I can remember, which is something to celebrate and be thankful for.

I can name Washington Baltimore and Pittsburgh but I'm sure you'll find a way to find a problem with that. About the only way for Dallas schedule to be tougher is to be playing against the AFC West
