I think a fresh start is good for all parties involved.
I wish he would refuse to sign and opt to go the FA route. Not happening as Jerry will cave and pay the chokers demandsThis is the only chance we have at getting rid of Dak is if he asks for a trade and offers to get rid of the no trade clause in his contract. As the big option he have a Dak being gone is him getting frustrated enough to no longer want to play for the Cowboys and attempt to test to see if any other NFL teams will sign him. Otherwise 2024 is just another wasted season with him as the QB. And there is a risk of him being extended although I don't think that will happen now.
he wont need to ask.
Lol he would bring a 1st and a 2ndI think people would be very surprised by his market. Someone would trade for him. But, it would be for a 2nd and 3rd, no firsts. And I think his extension market would be in the 35 million a year range and he’s not going to take that. Just my opinion of course. I could see a team doing like Vikings did with Kirk cousins a one or two year fully guaranteed contract. The only team signing him to a record QB contract (or close to it) is Jerry and Stephen, because they constantly over value their own players, because they think it makes them smarter then others and they have giant egos.
Yes, in theory but hearing he'll ride pine here will get him to agree. He has a no trade clause….he’d have to agree to it at the very least. I don’t see him doing that. Dak is probably our QB next year but a high likelihood it’s his last unless he wins several playoff games.
If he truly would get that you approach him about waiving the no trade clause and play hard ball with him. I do not believe any GM gIves a first for Dak. Not even Jerry would at this point. He will pay him though.Lol he would bring a 1st and a 2nd
I agree.I think a fresh start is good for all parties involved.
If you were a fan of another team, would you want them to trade for Dak?This is the only chance we have at getting rid of Dak is if he asks for a trade and offers to get rid of the no trade clause in his contract. He would be the next Tannerhill irrelevant after a season or 2.Why would he do that? He knows he can fleece Jerry and get whatever he wants.
Dak should do us a favor and ask to be traded..lolThis is the only chance we have at getting rid of Dak is if he asks for a trade and offers to get rid of the no trade clause in his contract. The Dak led offense was down 27-0 early. A great QB would match GB score for score. Dallas does not have a great playoff caliber QB.Again. The biggest problem isn't Dak. It's Jerry and the defense....
what if you go to him and tell they are rolling with Trey. He can either sit on the bench the entire season or get traded. What would he do?He has a no trade clause….he’d have to agree to it at the very least. I don’t see him doing that. Dak is probably our QB next year but a high likelihood it’s his last unless he wins several playoff games.
He’s going to get a significant amount on an extension. Since he has a no trade clause, he controls where he can be traded. That reduces his value in trade. You have guys on here wanting Dak to be paid highest in NFL history
Dak handed them half of those points, too.The Dak led offense was down 27-0 early. A great QB would match GB score for score. Dallas does not have a great playoff caliber QB.
