Dak stats against good teams vs bad teams

I’m not saying he’s not the GOAT, but advanced Brady stats and the stats of those around him over the course of his career do paint a very different picture than the narrative that he just wills his teams to win.

For example, among QBs with at least two rings, Brady has BY FAR the biggest drop in QBR from the regular season to the playoffs. He was the lowest rated QB in the entire playoff field in 2 of his title years.

Oh trust me, I totally agree with you man! Brady has had a ton of help along the way. He’s also had an incredible amount of luck (tuck rule was most famous help he got from the refs). Statistically, Brady has been great at just delicately steering the ship.

But since he’s been in Tampa, he’s been absolutely phenomenal. He has played center stage in winning multiple games this year (last week against the Jets included).

Brady kinda reminds me of Peyton Manning, but with way more championships. Manning notoriously underperformed in the playoffs also.

Who gives a flying **** about stats especially in a "soft" league now. Brady also feasted on the AFC east for the majority of his career and has benefited from some of the most bs calls of all time. Works both ways

Stop comparing Dak to Brady. Not even in the same tier of comparison or talent wise.

Yeah at least two of his super bowl wins came in garbage seasons

Brady also benefitted from the decline/retirement of the 90s generation of QBs. Had Aikman, Young, Marino, Elway, and Kelly been still playing when Brady started his rise, doubtful how many Super Bowls he would have from 2001-2004. That was a pretty weak era of NFL football with all the best QBs just recently retired.

This is a prime example of the definition of insanity. This is why I can only spend like 10 minutes here. Too many haters, for whatever reason and negativity. Pessimism and objective criticism I can handle, overt negativity and un-justifiable haters I cannot.

Every QB has bad teams counted on their stat sheets to make them look better. Dak feasting on a weak NFC East, Brady feasting on the Dolphins, Bills, and Jets and now the Panthers and Falcons. Mahomes' division was weak before this year. Rodger's divison is pretty mediocre too gnerally, actually bad if you ask me.
"Bad teams" is different than backups.
But the point is it can't be counted as among the "good" clubs as it's completely different from what made them good.

That’s how complete stats work. You don’t get to pick and choose certain games to fit a narrative.
Not really. You can use your brain if you choose to. Or you can turn it off.

Some of you like the latter.

Dak's Against Winning Teams

Dak Against .500 or Losing Teams

7-1 Record
102.1 Rating
18 TDs
5 INT

Tom Brady Against Winning Teams

5-1 Record
94.51666 Rating
10 TDs
4 INT

Tom Brady Against .500 or Losing Teams

7-3 Record
103.49 Rating
30 TDs
8 INT

Just saying! Tom Brady has thrown 30 TDs against .500 or below teams while only 10 against winning teams. Dak has thrown about the same against both. Even if you take out this Eagles game where you claim was against backups, his stats still look more similar than Tom's playing of good teams vs playing bad teams. Also, Tom played the Eagles and Washington too and played worse than Dak, so you gotta consider that.

I've always hated the 'how did we play against good teams' stat. I didn't do it this year, but most teams follow this pattern. We had a very good season. At most, the 'best' team might win 2 games more than we did. A few might win one more game than us (we'll know after tomorrow).

Stop comparing Dakota to these elite QBs. #4 has only won 1 Playoff game, and y'all try to mention him with HOF QBs...stop that. This is the time you cheer for Dak because these regular season numbers are for you cheerleaders...win playoff games is the barometer fans who watched Staubach n Aikman go by.

Not really. You can use your brain if you choose to. Or you can turn it off.

Some of you like the latter.

Tonight was a regular season game with actual stakes (seeding). Whether you choose to accept that fact or not is irrelevant.

I guess you’re part of the latter group you described?

Waste of a thead. People make their minds up early. Dak sucks. This isn't a team sport. Eli won two SB's because he's better. Big Ben with some of the worst post season stats in existence is better. Laces out Dan is awful. It is what it is. The blame is always laid on the QB in today's game.

I just hope we're healthy, and calling good plays come playoffs.
