Dak stats against good teams vs bad teams

Tonight was a regular season game with actual stakes (seeding). Whether you choose to accept that fact or not is irrelevant.

I guess you’re part of the latter group you described?
Clearly not.

The attempted implication from the stat was to try and make Dak look good against "good" teams (not defenses. It is not intellectually honest to pretend like one of those team playing their backups doesn't disqualify them from being included in that group for that game. It is not the same team that got the winning record.

Take out the Eagles game, and Dak's stats are still well over 101.0 Passer rating, and his TDs ratio remain about the same playing good teams or bad teams. In fact, there isn't much contradiction between his stats vs good teams and his stats vs bad teams this year. I realize he didn't win some of those games, but vs weak teams you can win with underperformers around you, vs strong teams you can't really afford that.

Good Lord folks.
It's not about the teams record who Daks facing. It's about what defensive scheme hes facing.
This will raise It's ugly head this week.
We adapt, we can win.
If not, we lose.

Dak's Against Winning Teams

4-4 Record
107.875 Rating
19 TDs
5 INT

Dak Against .500 or Losing Teams

7-1 Record
102.1 Rating
18 TDs
5 INT

Tom Brady Against Winning Teams

5-1 Record
94.51666 Rating
10 TDs
4 INT

Tom Brady Against .500 or Losing Teams

7-3 Record
103.49 Rating
30 TDs
8 INT

Just saying! Tom Brady has thrown 30 TDs against .500 or below teams while only 10 against winning teams. Dak has thrown about the same against both. Even if you take out this Eagles game where you claim was against backups, his stats still look more similar than Tom's playing of good teams vs playing bad teams. Also, Tom played the Eagles and Washington too and played worse than Dak, so you gotta consider that.
Dak literally isn't fit to carry Brady's jock. Stop with these posts comparing him to Brady. As a Cowboys fan it's embarrassing.

Tom Brady has also feasted upon a notoriously weak AFC East for most of his career.

Not taking anything away from him, just tamping out the stupidity coming from the haters club.
At some point in every season he went to super bowl he played and beat very good teams to win 7 titles. Dak will impress me if he gets us to nfcgc.

I’m just glad Dak’s confidence is up going into the playoffs.

Defense and the running game!
Some troll was on me trying to defend Brady. We all know he is the GOAT, but Belichick loves running up scores on bad teams. I will never forget what he did to Joe Gibbs. Brady was taught by the master.

We just beat a division rival. That division rival was 9-7 this year and they finished at 9-8. If they didn't have to play the Cowboys, they are probably at 11-6. Sure, they had some people out. But, that is no excuse! I know it wasn't for us.

Am I right about the players that we were missing? Parsons out. Diggs out. Brown out. Kearse out. Tyron Smith out. Tony Pollard out. Michael Gallup out. Some of y'all pushing the narrative that Dak only beat a depleted Eagles team. The narrative could just as easily be that Dak beat the Eagles by 50 points despite missing at least 8 key players.

For me, he's the QB of the Dallas Cowboys. He looks poised to do some work in the post season. I'm more worried out our oline and rb play than I am Dak. If the oline plays well, we are going to win some more games this year. If they don't, the offseason is going to get here sooner than I'd like.

Dak had a good season, even if you discount the last Eagles game. He isn’t what needs fixing. Heck, isn’t Dallas the #1 scoring offense this season?

Many (not all) of his inconsistencies can be attributed to a combination of bad OL play, lack of running game and dropped balls from the receivers.

We need to focus on snagging another elite OL since Tyron Smith is a 10 year vet and misses tons of games. We also never replaced the void left by Frederick. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to start looking for a mid round RB since Zeke’s wear and tear is starting to show.

You can't be intellectually honest and count tonight's game.
Teams have been decimated with covid/injuries all season. The games counted for those opposing QBs, and they count here. Cut the crap.

I love how some Dak haters have gotten to the point where now only certain games even count towards the stats. Christ almighty. :lmao2:
