Dak/Tebow a qb comparison

Please stop with the last 16 game stuff. We can put his first 16 games up against hall of fame QBs. Then he will look like a hall of Famer. Let the man play these final 8 games. Geez....
Why? The first 16 games were years ago. Old news. New data is the best data.

2016 is ancient history

Edit: he'll have every chance to show what he has for the rest of the season. Furthermore, I believe that he has at least performed adequately for a 4th rd pick and does have value in the NFL as a backbup.

I hope he shines and takes us to the playoffs

Tebow had HUGE college success.
The interesting thing is that Tim Tebow is one of the best QBs in the history of college football at throwing the ball.
88 passing touchdowns, #5 all time in SEC
66% completion percentage, #4 all time in SEC
9.3 yards per attempt, #1 all time in SEC
171 Passer Rating , #1 all time in SEC
It just goes to show how important the system, coaching and players surrounding are to certain players. Dak truly is a poor man’s Tim Tebow when you compare them coming out of school.

The Cowboys will win at least 6 games. Top 15 maybe but not top 5. 5 teams are already tanking and we are halfway through the season.
the next 5 games look like a 1-4 stretch at best, with Skins who have lots of injuries the only opportunity to win in reality...that leaves the last three games against the indy, bucs, giants....we would have to go 2-1....we could easily go 1-2....

we look like a 4-12 or 5-11 team...probably top 10....

Not a bad gig if u can land one. What other college students can get a career right at 23 and earn a couple of million at the minimum for the next 15 years or so. With some smart investing you have become King of all the lands.
And we know he's decent and is durable. I'd be all for it. It's not very often you have a back up that doesn't make you cringe.

Just like they can lose to the Colts or the Bucks. They can beat Atlanta or Philadelphia. 6-10.

Both are also outstanding citizens and natural leaders
Almost certain you're not good when that is the main point folks want you to know about a person in sports. How often do we lead off with Rodgers, Brady, or any superstar player is a good person before mentioning their skills? Not often but with Dak and Tebow types it comes up a lot.

That spin move has been his idiotic go-to move he blindly resorts to the second he feels pressure.

That's the antithesis of poise and pocket presence.

That's one of the things that's so disconcerting about him. Every QB misses throws or reads but he has fundamentals issues that are huge red flags for a guy that's supposed to be your franchise QB for the foreseeable future.

I think Dak has obvious deficiencies with a lack of flexibility in his arms and shoulders.

Interesting you say this. Many moons ago when I played amateur football, my team signed an ex-college QB who had bulked up a lot and was too muscle bound to throw correctly.
