Good thing Romo wasn't treated this way when he started out.

Treated what way? Romo kept the job because he has been somewhat successful. Had he failed, he would have been yanked. If it becomes obvious that Romo is the best option at QB, nobody here is going to complain if he takes over. But how many games has he played over the past 2 years? He's not the best option at this point. It's not even close.....

It's funny all the players are saying how much chemistry they have and how hard they pay for each other.......without Romo as starter. They even said it's something they have never seen before.

But yet some want to think it's still Romo team
You're a fool if you think Romo isn't integrated into the locker room. From his team party nights at his home to having beastly stay late to catch his passes to having Dez talk about the missiles Tony is throwing.

For everyone thinking Tony isn't a part of the locker room. . . . You're a fool.

Well, he was relatively poor when he began and now he's a multimillionaire. How abusive is that? Every NFL player has his day in the sun. Tony's had plenty of them, just like Bledsoe did a decade ago. That's a very long time for any NFL player and he's still a Cowboy today. Let's not forget that he's not going anywhere for a good while yet, either. According to those close to him, he's happy for the team and not complaining at all over his fate. He understands it's part of the game, just like everyone else should.

Just what he said, because it is the truth, you do not want him to be a liar. As long as Romo is on this team it is Romo's team

Actually, it's Jerry's team and doesn't belong to any of the players. Tony and Dak are both employees and only "own" their roster spots as such.

I'd like to see where players said that, I missed it.

Very well stated. I haven't read or heard one negative word from Romo about any of this supposed QB controversy. Fans are really forgetting how lucky we are right now to have this QB "problem". Like last season was existed.

Maybe more importantly, and definitely more creepily, we now know who the attractive girl with the tape recorder in the Cowboys locker room is: Kathryn Dunn. Also, thanks for the sound bite from Dak. He's in a tough spot, but he's been pretty consistent with his take.
Not creepy. We are men. Its how we roll

I'm rewatching every play of the 2nd half. The last 2 Cowboys drives before the end of regulation were horrific. The pass rush was getting to Dak in the pocket, batting his passes, sacking him, hitting him.

I suspect SOMEBODY calmed Dak down before OT started and told him to start rolling out and using his feet. They are busting the pocket, start moving around.

That OT drive, he starts rolling out, moving around, creating some room. On the winning TD pass he starts forward, sees it's not there, then rolls out left and finds Witten wide open.

Somebody is coaching him up on the sidelines and I THINK I KNOW WHO IT IS.

I hope you're correct.

His first start, the keys were given to him. Keys
This is Romo's team
When the time comes that he can play he will once again take the starting position.
This quote tells me that Romo's never looked over his shoulder his entire career.

I think so too. I think if this wasn't the case Dez and Beasley wouldn't be making public comments about how good Romo looks. I also think the coaching staff has to watch the film and see Dak could start struggling with poor fundamentals and needs this offseason.

I could see them not going back to Romo but I really think this is a media driven story and the organization is honestly trying to eliminate as much of the risk of Romo getting hurt again as possible. This is his training camp and the decision is made to bring him back already I believe

How about enjoying the friendship and mentor/student relationship these two QB's share and how it benefits the team as a whole? Both have proven with their words and deeds that they're all about what's best for the team. I feel that the team is very fortunate that Tony has taken such pleasure out of mentoring Dak. I truly feel there is no stress between them and the team would happily follow either.

No.....it's not.....as long as Dak is winning, it's his team.....Jerry is loyal to Romo, but he's more loyal to winning.....

No, it is Romo's team as long as he is on it. Dak is only starting because of Romo's injury, if that had not happened then we would not know what Dak could do until Romo retired, now we know
