Dak to Butler

The issue today will be will he have time to throw downfield. If smith doesn't play this could be like the giants game, they stuff the run and run odd alignments and blitz and confuse the offense.

Today we need a big special teams play from Lucky, a big play in the passing game the likes of that crossing pattern Williams is so good at and we have to win the turnover battle.
If only our head coach and OC had a certain play to settle the blitz. They should create something where the running back slips out and the quarterback throws it to him and he runs in the open field. Damn, maybe I should be a head coach!

Hoping Twill will catch/no fumbles that get thrown his way today. If Butler is hot early SF might send help that way.

I like that Dak got Butler involved.

Butler was great until that penalty.

I want more Butler.

What about Dez coaching Butler up o. The sideline. Was that immaturity or passion?

Dez did what he was supposed to do. Butler had an opportunity to seal the game. Hopefully Butler learns from it. Him heeding the advice is what will make him better. I'll give Butler his props in that he actually looked like he was affected by it and looked concern instead of just walking away or walking off the field with a smile on his face.

I think Dez was trying to be a good teammate and give Butler some advice, although I'm just guessing. Tony did the same as well and I believe both wanted to do whatever it took to help out. No reason to think otherwise, imho.

Butler has probably been soooooo frustrated with tony not getting him the ball that he didn't know how to act.

I was pissed at that flag.

Oh, for sure...and the over 70% third down completion rate for Dak Prescott doesn't mean a thing...

I don't think team is missed by any that you include in a snapshot.

Well, when Dez is healthy, Butler just doesn't get the looks. It doesn't have a whole lot to do with the QB.

Wait... when Dez is healthy and isn't making any catches, butler doesn't get any looks?
That's flawed logic.

It doesn't have a who,e lot to do with qb? I disagree. Sometimes some QBs just can't/don't/want to go to certain WRs. We've seen that before.

Brady gets the ball to multiple receivers.
Dak finds a way.

Hmmmm....

Unless I'm missing something, until this week, Butler had done jack squat this year. The only reason he did in this game was because Dez was hurt.
