Y’all keep doing this. If it’s not too much trouble, could you break down the other receivers pcts? I have to think one or two guys is skewing it a bit.
I limited it to Dak's top 6 targeted receivers, and top 3 today.
Prescott today, to...
Bryant 6 of 11 (54.5%) 73 yd 0 td 0 int
75.2
Williams 9 of 9 (100%) 141 yd 0 td 0 int
118.7
Beasley 4 of 6 (66.7%) 24 yd 2 td 0 int
113.8
Prescott this season, to...
Bryant 38 of 75 (50.7%) 439 yd 4 td 2 int
75.4
Witten 35 of 48 (72.9%) 322 yd 3 td 0 int
111.6
Williams 30 of 41 (73.2%) 357 yd 0 td 1 int
89.2
Beasley 24 of 37 (64.9%) 165 yd 4 td 1 int
99.5
Elliott 19 of 26 (73.1%) 190 yd 2 td 0 int
119.0
Butler 9 of 16 (56.3%) 215 yd 2 td 0 int
140.6
Keep in mind, the guy with the 140.6 rating only has 16 of the 258 targeted attempts. So even when you remove his targets -- and not like there's any reason to do so anyway -- you can still see the disparity between Dez's targets and the others'.
Bryant 75.4
everybody else except Butler 104.0
And I don't post this stuff as a shot at Dez, who's been one of my favorite players for a long time. I just like knowing what's really going on with the team.
I'll put it this way, if this ever gets fixed, Dak moves to the top of the list of MVP candidates. That he can have a 75 rating to the guy who gets the greatest share of his targets, and
still be in the Top 10 in passer rating, is remarkable.
