yup, he looked like a rookie against a great defense, but also made the plays to get the W. Can't take him out.

Yes, you can. This team has a much higher ceiling with Romo. Dak has struggled against the blitz the last two games. The Cowboys were only in the game due to a successful fake punt, fumble recovery, and a huge third down tackle that knocked Philly out of FG range.

Without those three highly improbable events, there's no game winning TD pass in overtime.

Figured this was coming. dak showed up late and proved himself again. This is a luxury with tony and dak in the fold. I'm just ecstatic we keep winning. keep this train rolling.

That's another thing that was so impressive about his performance was having to play from behind against that pass rush. Rookie QB's usually wilt under the pressure of a pass rush having to play from behind but not Dak.
Good post and it couldn't be any more accurate. With what Swartz was doing to Dak last night, young guys (not just rookies) will fall apart and by the 4th quarter there is no question about who will win the game.

They don't improve and dominate during crunch time. Dak isn't your normal QB. He has special traits... particularly between his ears and in his chest.

Would you bench a QB that has won his last 6 games? No. We may need Tony at some point, but not now, it's a good situation for us.

The team has a higher ceiling but also has a lower bottom. Tony has bailed the team out for years. But some of the games were Romo caused. Such as the 5 interception game vs. the Bills that we came back to win.
