Prescott was bound to have a rough game at some point. He did not collapse and led the club back for a win against a decent Eagle defense. He
put 29 points on the board. This boy will have a few more tough games but he is a winner and will in time take the club to the SB.

Im just picturing romo throwing 3 picks in a game, rolling out when the pocket hasnt collapsed yet, telegraphing his handoff to zeke a year before he even gets close to him lol and a few delay of games amd wasted timeouts because he loooooooves to run the playclock down to the last second . Yeah i think romo would be a great back up.
I remember when I first started watching football

Yep, like I mentioned in the post game thread. Yesterday was exactly what I think we needed to see from Dak. A game where he was off for much of it, how does he respond? Dak just wins.

Everyone was screaming about Dak and the long pass. He hit 50% of the deep balls yesterday.

Wont sit here and say Dak is a better thrower of the football than Romo. What I will say is this push from Dak will bring out the best in Romo and if Jason decides to go back to Tony, we should be in for a treat. If Garrett decides to stick with Dak, we should be in for treat. Either way, we are in a great position going forward at QB.

God, just shut up, Jerry. You're such a tool.

I feel different about this. I'm glad that Jerry came and put this to bed for the week instead of hearing the media engage in drama and hand wringing about the issue. They will have to wait at least another week for that sort of rot.

I would like to think a healthy Romo could play better than Dak did last night.

I think the Eagles have set the 'book' on Dak. Widen out the pass rush to take away the bootlegs and switch up the coverages and zone blitzes. The good thing is that there is a good way to beat this, especially with EE and our O-Line. We'll need Dez as well to beat single coverage deep.

Eagles set the book? What to losing. Dak is a rookie but once we made adjustments we scored when needed. Not only that Dak isn't going to miss open recievers like he did. He settled in and threw darts, so let teams play like eagles.

Wouldnt you say the D and running game won the game? More then Prescott.

It was a total team win but Dak deserves a lot of the credit because he accounted for 3 of our TD's passing and rushing. He stayed alive a number of times to keep our game tying drive alive and converted a critical 4th down with a QB sneak. He tossed a TD to Dez on that drive to tie the game and in OT he stayed alive avoiding a good rush to find a wide open Witten for the winning score. Even though that wasn't Dak's most efficient game, I was more impressed with him last night than in any game he's played because he hung in and wasn't rattled despite all the adversity he faced. We've struck gold with him.

It was his worst game by far and he was clearly rattled. The Eagles didn't win because their offense stinks.

Some of you act like Romo has never thrown for a 79 quarter back rating, and missed wide open receivers. He's played much much much worse than Dak did last night. He's also a better QB when healthy. Point being, 1 performance shouldn't determine these definite responses I'm seeing from posters.

Maybe I misheard this, but on the radio this morning they said Dak and Andy Dalton are the only rookie QB's to rally their teams from 10 or greater point deficits in 2 games.

Eagles didn't win because the rookie Dak settled in and made adjustments and led a game winning drive.

No, YR was right. The team led Dak to this win, like that have the others. They had to drag him along a little rougher this time though.

What Dak was huge in the 4th and over time. The team didn't scramble around and throw a pass to Witten in the endzone. Stop down playing what Dak did to win the game

Disappointing. I am looking forward to Romo's return personally. The sky is the limit with this offense with Romo.

Dak had some good moments, but many awful ones as well, including on the last 2 drives in regulation (even the TD drive - should have been picked off). His receivers saved him, his defense saved him, the Eagles defenders saved him. It was a very bad night that he struggled with the entire game (not just early). He struggled mightily. He's a rookie. He looked like a rookie (and worse, an extremely inaccurate rookie). It happens, it's okay. We should put this "Dak the savior" nonsense to rest though. At least for a couple years.

He is a rookie and led a come from behind win against a tough division opponent when he made multiple mistakes through out the game. Down play it all you want but that is impressive

You keep saying he led...I don't see it that way at all.

QB != led
