I’ve seen plenty of Dak vs Romo comparisons. But swap Dak and Aikman. Does Dak lose on the 90s teams? Does Aikman win on this team? I don’t really have an opinion, tell me what you think.

Aikman and Romo both win more with this team....imo. Not sure about a SB though, if thats what you mean.
Romo wins a title or two with the 90s rosters, not so sure about Dak.

Don’t think Aikman wins with this team, especially since Pollard would be out. Last years team might be a different story because Aikman accuracy with Coopers route running would be fun to watch. Dak in the 90s would be interesting but those team were so talented at every level. Didn’t we have the number #1 defense and offense on of the years.

Not comparing qbs because Aikman is a hall of famer and would of one yesterday’s game because he wouldn’t of thrown the 2 ints but this team still wouldn’t of been talented enough to win a Super Bowl even with Aikman.

Yes, in this era, and in this offensive design (vs run, run, run) Aikman could have huge numbers.

Yes, Dak still loses. Aikman was far more accurate, could throw laser slants, and knew how to read a defense. So basically Aikman did everything Dak can't do worth a damn.

Aikman was a much better quarterback than Dak. The better question would be, could Aikman win with such a dumb, Neanderthal brain offensive coordinator with a low football IQ.

Im sorry but Romo never won anything meaningful even when he had very very good teams. I don’t want to nit pick but his record in the playoffs speaks for itself and no amount of excuse making will change it

The reality is that Dak and Romo are (were) both above average but inconsistent QBs who were giddy and happy to just be the Cowboys QB and paid well and be a celebrity

They don’t have it in them to rise to the occasion and play consistently good football for 4 consecutive games against the best teams in the playoffs

I can honestly say that I wish neither of them had become a QB for us because they kept us above average and competitive which gave Jerry the perfect excuse to do nothing

Right now Dak can't even be compared to Danny White much less Troy Aikman. At least White took us to the NFC Championship 3 times. He was 5-5 in the playoffs.

I think the Cowboys win yesterdays game with almost any QB not named Dak. That is how bad he played. Put Troy on this team and Purdy would of been trying to dig out of a 14 point lead at some point.

Romo and Dak are the same, failed in the playoffs.

Aikman would have had success with this year (and last years) team.. and I think he would have had success with the 2016 team as well.

You could have put Dak into our greatest team or our greatest era.. he still wouldn't have won a damn thing. He is just not that good.

You think that Irvin would have kept his mouth shut about the abysmal play at QB if he was playing with Dak? I am not saying he would cut a fool (too soon!) but he would not let this garbage stand. Dak would not have lasted.

Dak loses on the 90's teams. Aikman kicked into another gear in the playoffs and willed the team to victory. Dak willed the team to defeat last night. There's a huge difference there.
