Its very obvious to me lot of the people on this forum don't follow the league much outside of Dallas. So I think it's only right that I take time to educate a lot of you:lmao:

Have you seen how different Dalton looks since his new Coordinator took over? Looked like a future HOFer today. Do you think this is simply a coincidence? Do you people calling for Daks head not understand how important offensive scheme and playcalling are? Do you not understand how important coaching is?

The only time we were productive today was when the play broke down and Dak made something out of nothing, broken plays. It absolutely makes me SICK that Garrett and these coaches can't design an offensive scheme to save their lives. This looks like an offense from the 70s. Simply line up and beat your man. What a joke. No creativity, no movement, no imagination. Are you kidding me?

Converse this with the Rams. Absolutely average talent on offense. Goff is a below average quarterback. Same personnel as last year.... why do they look all word? MCVAY. Can you imagine how unstoppable this offense would be with him calling plays?

Bottom line is Dak IS a top 10 QB in the league and CAN make all the throws. Athletic, smart. Garrett and Linnehan are holding him back. I can only imagine what he would do with McVay as his coach.

Let's see if Stephen or Jerry grow a set of nuts and do anything about it
Top 10 qb in the league :lmao:

He did look a little like Romo back there.

Rolling around and creating plays.

Losing the game like Romo used to, too.

Interceptions at the end of games..

Not sure what to think.
Yes...getting hit while throwing is clearly his fault.

And yet this 'significantly better' qb had eerily similar stats despite having better o line production and a run game.
Well...the "SIGNIFICANTLY better" qb had a 41 QBR and the crap qb that can't get out of hit own way had a 78.

I don't know how that is possible since one throws into windows and the other areas....lol

I disagree. He is absolutely average. Did you see him last year? Only reason he looks competent is because of Mcvay. Dak is twice the player
He was below average last yr as a rookie, this yr the kid is playing to the potential of a #1 overall draft pick. Last yr he was a complete washout, this yr it looks like he has a very bright future in front of him. Roles reversed...

On the post game show the Fan 105.3, Jessie Holly is going on and on how this offense has no creativity under Garrett and their coaching staff. Nothing original, no new wrinkles during a game. Same boring predictable offense.
Are you just figuring this out for yourself?

Tired of this fanbase blaming the offensive scheme. When we win, you guys say nothing about the scheme. In the first half when we didnt punt, you guys say nothing about the scheme. 13-3 last year with a top ranked offense, you guys said nothing about the scheme

The scheme or playcalling isnt the issue, its the players executing. The Qb needs to make better throws, the oline has to be be better blocking, the wrs need to run better routes.

And the defense needs to stop allowing 30+

The offense is broken and that has exposed the Defense for what it is. It would've been mostly the same last year but the offense was just clicking so well. I can't really put my finger on what is wrong with the O but I think it is a combination of things. The pass protection is not as good and the OC is going away (at least to me) from the run too soon. I am almost thinking they are trying to get the passing game going at the cost of the running game. It's really weird but they need to stop whatever they are trying to do..LOL

Forcing the ball to Dez is killing us.

What is really the hype of JG?...Offensive guru?....I don't see it now and didn't see before needing glasses.

He has to have compromising pictures of Jerry. I appreciate Tony Romo more, having to make plays with the coaching group he was under.

We understand football.
Do you understand QBR? If you did, you would know that 41 is WAY less than 78.

Therefore your "SIGNIFICANTLY better" statement is wrong.

And a WR who in the backfield can cause the whole D to shift into the opposite direction the play is going and create holes for the RB and other receivers to get open. Also they run bunch pick plays which we never use as we would get called for itvwhere the rams outright blocked s and rick with the first receiver allowing a clean throw to the second as he tried to recover

Do you understand that QB ratings of any sort are about the dumbest statistics ever created in any sport ever?

Learn the game. Forget the stats. Dak is playing very poorly, and the NFL has figured out how to defend the Cowboys. Make Dak beat you from the pocket. He can't.

It went bad 12/16/07.

It was great up until that day against the Eagles (for his 1st 12 or so games with the Cowboys).

But we rarely see anything new with this team.

It's somehow on all 11 players to be better than the guy their going up against.

They ran TO against the Eagles off motion, on an interior slant that took it to the house that year.. beautiful

I'm pretty sure now Sparano called that play

Oh...i have to learn the game to know that QBR is the most comprehensive measure of how a qb is playing that exists.

I see...i wish i had your football accumen.

QBR is a joke. Football people call it a joke. Stop looking at meaningless numbers and look at what you see.

The book on Dak is out. He can not beat you from the pocket. He's woefully inaccurate from there. He sails balls all over the place. He doesn't know how to split zones because he doesn't read defenses well enough. His arm isn't particularly strong, and he can't put it where he wants to. If the running game is getting stuffed, the Cowboys are in trouble offensively.

Today.

This doesn't mean he won't develop. But right now, he's the worst quarterback in the NFC East, and no longer is the prize of last year's draft.

Goff absolutely looks the part. Big arm, reading defenses quicker and quicker, can place the ball in tight spots. You can see why he went #1, and you can see CLEARLY why teams had doubts about Prescott.

Dak is a worker. I trust that whatever his ultimate ability is, he'll reach it because he's a big character kid with true desire to get there.

So now Goff's good 4 games is better than a season and 4 games?

You guys act like Dak didn't pass from the pocket all last year. He was among the best at doing so as well.

I am just beside myself with the reactionary horrible conclusions you are taking on Dak. Unbelievable.

I've been tired of this offense for 10 years!! Football is about matchups and we don't outscheme anyone.

I'm not convinced this staff does any scouting, scheming, or game planning whatsoever.
