Its very obvious to me lot of the people on this forum don't follow the league much outside of Dallas. So I think it's only right that I take time to educate a lot of you:lmao:

Have you seen how different Dalton looks since his new Coordinator took over? Looked like a future HOFer today. Do you think this is simply a coincidence? Do you people calling for Daks head not understand how important offensive scheme and playcalling are? Do you not understand how important coaching is?

The only time we were productive today was when the play broke down and Dak made something out of nothing, broken plays. It absolutely makes me SICK that Garrett and these coaches can't design an offensive scheme to save their lives. This looks like an offense from the 70s. Simply line up and beat your man. What a joke. No creativity, no movement, no imagination. Are you kidding me?

Converse this with the Rams. Absolutely average talent on offense. Goff is a below average quarterback. Same personnel as last year.... why do they look all word? MCVAY. Can you imagine how unstoppable this offense would be with him calling plays?

Bottom line is Dak IS a top 10 QB in the league and CAN make all the throws. Athletic, smart. Garrett and Linnehan are holding him back. I can only imagine what he would do with McVay as his coach.

Let's see if Stephen or Jerry grow a set of nuts and do anything about it
You lost me at Dak is a top 10 QB

I will no longer take anyone on this board seriously if they sit there and blame the players for this mess and the flaws being exposed.

Well you're not educating anyone by saying Goff is below average, he's a young talented guy (Top 5 pick) getting his opportunity. Gurley is one of the best young backs in the league next to Zeke and we were without Sean Lee. With that said we were terrible on Defense and we move away from the run to quickly when it's working and when it's not working. Zeke missed some holes today too..bounced a couple right into traffic. The play calling is suspect for sure, where is Beasley and Witten on 3rd down? Dak was off too, his 3rd down throws were sailing and his accuracy inside the pocket was suspect. Outside the pocket he has some magic. Bottom line is we just gave away a game to a rookie coach at home and that is on JG and the rest of the coaching staff on both sides of the ball.

Yeah Stafford and Megatron did horribly under Linehan. o_O

I'm not sure why it took an entire off season for people to figure out to clog the middle of the field and make Dak throw to the outside WR's 10-20 yards downfield, but now that they have figured it out it's going to be tough on Dak until he can hit those throws.

Still, we put up 30 points. Chances of winning with a -2 turnover ratio is about 10%. Could stop the run or the pass. Dak has a lot of growing to do but you should win with 30 points. Defense is going to have to figure itself out.
Detroit was below average with Linnehan FYI... Johnson put up numbers because they threw 60 times a game and he's a freak.

Contrary to popular belief, defense is not the issue. Coaching, scheme and playcalling are.

I disagree. He is absolutely average. Did you see him last year? Only reason he looks competent is because of Mcvay. Dak is twice the player
He has improved exponentially. He is finding the mismatches and hitting those. Some of that is coaching, but he has the tools to execute. Last year, after that crushing hit, he would get the yips. This year he is bouncing back

Whose fault is this?

I mean Dak rarely seems to attack the middle of the field or down the field. A lot of dump offs and short stuff. Even on that last drive, nothing but little short passes. Is that by design or is Dak gunshy?

Whatever it is, it's not working.

Hard to argue that when the two games we lost we gave up 35 and 42 points. Not sure how many games you think we should win giving up that many.

Tired of this fanbase blaming the offensive scheme. When we win, you guys say nothing about the scheme. In the first half when we didnt punt, you guys say nothing about the scheme. 13-3 last year with a top ranked offense, you guys said nothing about the scheme.

The scheme or playcalling isnt the issue, its the players executing. The Qb needs to make better throws, the oline has to be be better blocking, the wrs need to run better routes.

Goff is better than Dak by a SIGNIFICANT margin.

That's obvious.

Here's someone else who wasn't paying attention. Scheme and play calling had nothing to do with first half success. All Dak improvising.

He did look a little like Romo back there.

Rolling around and creating plays.

Losing the game like Romo used to, too.

Interceptions at the end of games..

Not sure what to think.

No, im paying attention closely.

You on the other hand are a homer who refuses to blame the players for their shortcomings.

That's obvious.

And yet this 'significantly better' qb had eerily similar stats despite having better o line production and a run game.

Garrett is like Jerry's third son. He gives his employment, in turn Garrett strokes his ego. They'll continue their insane partnership as all of us suffer. 10 year investment, **** to show for it.

He can coach while broadcasting, so after the play is completed he can tell us all what he did.
He needs to broadcast a Cowboys game.

Yeah, this is a run to the left. [Run to the left]
This is a pass three yards short of the 1st down. [A pass three yards short of the 1st down]
Watch for the draw play here. [A draw play is run]

Nantz: Tony, this is because you know the Cowboys playbook so well.
Romo: Yeah. My four year old knows it pretty good too.
